There is currently construction ongoing near the resort which will last through early 2027 involving the adjoining non-Wyndham property. Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park
This cross-country skiing park is just a five-minute drive from Canmore. Originally developed for the 1988 Olympics, it offers more than 44 miles of cross-country and biathlon trail systems. 2 mi.

Columbia Icefield
The Columbia Icefield, about 210 kilometers from Canmore along the scenic Icefields Parkway, is one of the largest blocks of ice and snow south of the Arctic Circle.
