Within the city walls

Yiannis met us at the city walls and drove us into the old town to the house. A bottle of bubbly and provisions for a meal were much appreciated after a late flight. The accommodation was ideal for the two of us, the furnishings were very stylish and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The stairs, being quite steep and and spirally may be difficult for those with mobility problems but we are both in our seventies and managed them with care. Situated a three minute walk to the centre of all Old Town activities the house was a welcome retreat after shopping and site seeing . The beds were comfortable with excellent linen, the outside patio was well furnished and proved a real sun trap. I have no hesitation to recommend this property .

Peaceful and historical neighborhood

Yianni will pick you up and take you to his home. We travelled this time without our children. We have stayed here with our sons as well. If you love cats , you will love the welcome they bring when you arrive in front of the home. There is a 15th century church directly in front of your entrance where if you’re lucky … can witness a baptism like we have… if you rent a vehicle, you will have to park it outside of old town and walk to your house - 10 minutes approx. overall the best ! Hopefully we can come back soon.

Old town comfort

I stayed in Yiannis’s lovely house 7 years ago only to return and find I was still in love with his place. The location and comfort is tops! A two floors, with staircase, allowed space, comfort and the chance to “live” Rhodos. It’s got everything needed to allow me to prepare regular meals while buying local produce. The enclosed courtyard is fantastic. Yianni has maintained a high standard with a welcome basket of food- drink to get you started. He’s responsive and helps you if you need it. Can’t wait to return and live the life in Rhodos! 10, 10, 10!!!!

Old Town Bliss

Wonderful apartment in Rhodes old town, perfect location! We felt very special to be staying in a well restored building, surrounded by such history. Our host, Yiannis, made sure that we had everything required to start our holiday, all the basics in the kitchen, plenty of towels, toiletries, information leaflets. We could not ask for more………..would love to return!!

Wonderful Property.

This really is a wonderful property in a lovely location. Its on the outskirts of the old town just within the city walls but only a few minutes walk to all the fantastic restaurants, bars and attractions. It also has a nice small private courtyard. Lovely decorated and well fitted out kitchen and good working air con in all rooms. Only thing worth mentioning is that its on two levels with a staircase that might be an issue for some travellers. Otherwise its perfect.

Wonderful location

The house is great, we had a very pleasant stay and felt like home. The location in the old town is quite convenient. We'll come back next time once we are in Rhodes again.

Perfekte Wohnung für einen gelungenen Rhodos Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung (eigentlich vielmehr Ferienhaus) ist genau so schön, wie sie inseriert ist! Die gute Lage in der Altstadt ermöglicht einen wunderbaren Einblick in das Leben der "echten" Stadt-Rhodier und ist guter Ausgangspunkt für alle Unternehmungen auf der Insel. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub braucht und die Terrasse bietet trotz Stadtlage schöne ruhige Abende. Die Kommunikation mit Yiannis ist uneingeschränkt top, super freundlich, gut erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit, vielen Dank dafür Yiannis !!! Die Wohnung ist aus unserer Sicht ein unbedingt empfehlenswertes Objekt!

Sehr nette Altstadt-Villa mit wunderschönem Innenhof. Alles ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar gewesen auch der Strand, die Bäckerei mit wunderbarem Cappuccino und der Minimarkt. Der Host ist sehr zuverlässig und gastfreundlich.

Excellent Rental Property in Old Town

Great location in a quiet part of the old town. Yiannis the owner has done a great job with this 2 bed property. The small enclosed garden was a suntrap from 10.30 till 3.30. He was only a call away and checked regularly that everything was fine. Thank you Yiannis for a great 2 weeks.

Fabulous in every way

Yiannis was a superb host. From airport pick up to check out and everything in between warmth and hospitality were abundant. Plus the little villa was incredibly well designed and appointed and right in the heart of Old Town but on a quietly gorgeous side street. I will be back for sure.

Excellent quality and location.

Very comfortable and well appointed, with a great location: only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of town, but in a quiet location. The attached courtyard is a great place for breakfast and an evening drink. Transport from the airport directly to the door is a great option, we strongly recommend it.

Fabulous villa perfectly located for Rhodes Old Town

Fantastic house, stunning location in the heart of old town, warm + welcoming host and neighbours

Historical stone house with private courtyard in the heart of the old town and at the same time quiet and relaxing. Comfortable furniture and equipment including state of the art devices, e.g. Bosch/Siemens household appliances. Yiannis is a warm and welcoming host who will support you at any time. 7 days in Rhodes Okd Town

Great communication, stunning property. Yiannis, the owner, met us on arrival at 11pm having arranged an airport to property driver. Quick overview of the house, supplies in the fridge including Fizz. Always available to assist when required. Couldn’t fault it in anyway. Would highly recommend and will use again in the future.

Perfection

As near perfection as you could wish for. A beautiful spacious town house, in a very quiet part of Rhodes Old Town, yet less than 200 metres from the centre with bars, restaurants, and tourist sites The owner was very welcoming, and helpful. It is worth noting that people with mild mobility problems may have difficulty with the stairs.

Lovely being part of the city

Really nice property with firm bed, lots of space, WiFi, dishwasher and washing machine. Loads of spare sheets and towels including beach towels. Lovely private courtyard and right in the walled city. We had poor weather for three days but it was fine as the house had space to relax in. Easy pick up and warm welcome at the house. First taste of home away and will definitely do it again.

Well situated and very comfortable.

Very convenient personal transfer to and from the airport right to the door. The apartment is very clean and well appointed, right in the heart - but quiet - of the old town. This is our second stay here, looking forward to more in the future.

An excellent villa in first class location in old Rhodes town with charming helpful owner.

We stayed 3 weeks in September 2018 in Yiannis’s professionally restored and adapted medieval town house. Yiannis (the owner) is a very personable young man who is very helpful and efficient. He arranged our taxis from and return to the airport. He was there to brief us after our very late flight from Edinburgh. The villa is beautifully clean,well furnished,freshly decorated and fully equipped with all the linen,towels,toiletries and kitchen essentials that are needed for a comfortable stay. Fizz, ozo and coffee pods added a nice touch.The courtyard is small but very attractive and well furnished. There’ a small shop 2 minutes away and very good local shops about a 10 minutes walk. The villa is located about 5 minutes on foot from the central areas of the old town and close to the harbours for boat trips. Our stay coincided with Rhodes’ tourism festival when many free events are presented from a virtuoso piano to a pop concert.We attended 4 events and all were excellent. Rhodes old town itself has many attractions and places interest. The villa has a slightly quirky layout and stairs and steps while needing care are manageable ( we are a 71 year old couple). So,to some up, we think the villa is perfect for a couple and families with children old enough to manage steep stairs.We would certainly consider returning in the future.

Very comfortable and quiet, but within the city walls. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay for one week (couple plus daughter). The property is well fitted out and very comfortable. It looks and feels old - with character. Second bedroom is accessed through the first bedroom, but has its own en suite. It was hot so we made good use of the air conditioning. Yiannis, the owner was very helpful e.g. arranging transfers to and from the airport, which worked very well. It is very nicely located - very quiet - and opposite an old small church. We spent time wandering the city, hired a car for a day and did a couple of boat trips - all good. We'd recommend if you want to stay in the old city. Definitely a very good choice.
