Unwind in Greer at this fabulous renovated old farm house overlooking a spectacular lilly pond. Peak out your window each morning to cattle quietly dining on the pasture grass just beyond your window. With 2 bedrooms including a queen and king bed, this cozy retreat offers all the comforts you need. Enjoy the convenience of AC and heating, along with 2 bathrooms featuring walk in full size tile showers. Feel right at home in this excellent property, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Feel free to reach out to us during your stay - we're happy to suggest local spots to check out. Pond View is a remodeled farmhouse nestled in the old farming community of Greer. The property is still surrounded by cattle grazing quietly around you and overlooks a beautiful Lilly pond. It provides a delightful combination of old world farm life and modern convenience. GSP airport is under 10 minutes away.
A full kitchen is provided. The hosts use the house fairly often so it is typically well stocked with pots and pans as well as everyday spices. All guests are welcome to use any of the items that are in the cabinets; including any can or dry goods or easily prepared foods. If you have time please replace what it is used, but if not, no worries! Coffee and half-and-half are most often freshly stocked and waiting.
The home features two bedrooms, one a queen and the other a king, both with beautiful views of pond and pastures. There are two full bathrooms but please be aware there is not a bathtub on the premises. Just full newly tiled walk in showers. Drawers are available in each bedroom. Each bedroom also features a private deck for relaxing outside and viewing the pond.
There is also a sitting room connected to the ample kitchen. Additionally, one of the bedrooms has been turned into a TV viewing room. The TV allows you to sign into all of your personal TV apps.
A washer and dryer is provided with supplies for your laundry needs.
Please be aware that while the property is surrounded by split rail or wire fencing the fencing will not contain any domestic pets. Fences were placed as you would expect to simply contain grazing cattle. Keep in mind as well that about 20 head of cattle reside in the large pastures that surround the property so any pet you bring will need to be kept on leash while on campus.
Parking for 2 guest vehicles is provided at all times. On certain occasions vehicles may be left on the premises while traveling for $10 per day. You can easily Uber to the airport in less than 10 minutes.
Access to the airport is extremely easy. Most guest will simply turn left out the drive and proceed to the first stop sign. Then a right to the next light just across interstate 85. Once at the light turn right and follow signs to GSP. You will appear to be merging on 85 but the entry lane does not disappear. You can simply follow it for 1/2 mile to the airport entrance. Typically, no matter how big a parking lot Interstate 85 has turned into you can simply stay in the entry lane and proceed quickly to the airport entrance. Parking will be just ahead. Your trip to the airport is just under 10 minutes almost always. If you would like to avoid 85 altogether that is easily done as well. Left out of the drive. Follow until the road dead ends. Turn right. Quick right again. Cross 85 and turn right at the next light and enter the airport. Again, right at 10 minutes or less.
Access to Greenville, Greer and Spartanburg is extremely easy and within 15 minutes for most destination.
The area is flooded with eateries. Whatever you hunger for it is within a few mintues drive.
