The studio sits on the second floor, surrounded by towering oaks and peaceful acreage. Inside, the open layout feels airy and bright, with high ceilings, natural light, and treetop views from nearly every angle. A Murphy bed folds down to create a cozy sleeping nook and tucks away during the day for more living space. Nearby, a modern futon offers an additional sleeping spot, making the studio comfortable for up to 3 guests.
The living area is styled with mid-century modern touches, including a lounge chair and ottoman perfect for curling up with a book or enjoying a quiet evening. French doors open to a private balcony, where you can sip coffee in the morning or watch the sunset filter through the trees.
The retro-inspired kitchenette features a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, and coffee maker, along with dishes, utensils, and basic condiments for simple meals. A dining table sits nearby, offering a spot to share breakfast before heading out to explore Austin or the Hill Country.
The bathroom includes a walk-in shower with a rainfall showerhead, stocked with fresh towels and bath products. For longer stays, the studio is equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable year-round.
Outside, your private courtyard offers a picnic table, seating area, all lit by string lights for a warm evening atmosphere.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive use of the entire second-floor studio and private balcony. The courtyard, which includes the picnic table, and seating area, is a shared space with the main house. You’re also welcome to explore the nature around the property, perfect for a peaceful walk or letting your pet stretch its legs (leash recommended). Free on-site parking and a private entrance make coming and going simple and convenient.
Guests do not have access to the garage or the main house.

Only about 15 minutes from Downtown Austin, you’ll have easy access to live music venues, renowned restaurants, and cultural landmarks like Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool. Drive west and you’ll reach the Texas Hill Country in about 15 minutes, where wineries, breweries, and scenic trails await. Whether you’re in the mood for a day of outdoor adventure or a night out in the city, this location offers the perfect balance of nature and convenience.
