We were more than pleased with our stay! The ocean views were stunning. The fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and all the amenities were all so helpful and convenient. We’ll definitely stay again!

Perfect Getaway

We were very pleased with our stay! My family had a condo on the island but it was sold so we had to rent a condo for this year's visit. The condo was very clean (even the couch had been vacuumed very well). There were beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, and some shelling tools all available for use which was wonderful. The view is spectacular!! We were very pleased and would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful Condo on the Beach with a Beautiful View.

The Mermaid house was beautiful!! The View was amazing! The kids loved loft and finding shells every day. The host Ed, was great as well! Thank you for sharing the Mermaid house! Would definitely come back!

The Mermaid House was absolutely beautiful! Beautiful views. Right on the beach. Clean. The house had everything we could have possibly needed. Good location. The only complaint I have is that we did text the property owner at the number he provided, and he never did get back with us. On the description of this condo, it said parties and events welcome. However, you only get 1 parking space. I do wish he had responded, but I'm not going to lower the overall rating for that because everything else was better than we could have imagined. We had a great time at the Mermaid House and will absolutely return in the future!

Great Condo

The condo was everything we hoped for. The beachfront views from the lanai were great. The unit was a very short walk to the beach. The unit had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

The condo was as described. Very well stocked with towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, laundry detergent, etc. Great view from the screened in porch. I would stay here again. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Great week on Sanibel Island!

We enjoyed our weeklong December stay at Ed's condo. Ed was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. The condo was as advertised in the pictures with beautiful views. It was very clean and was the perfect location for a relaxing couple's getaway on Sanibel Island. We certainly would consider booking the condo again for any future Ft. Myers/Sanibel Island trip(s).

Can't get any closer to the beach h!

The condo was perfect... so nice and well decorated. It has a fantastic view of the ocean and is just footsteps away. It's close to tons of great restaurants, and beach is beautiful and fill with shells. Highly recommend! We will be back!!

Already booked for next year

The view of the ocean from the master bedroom and deck was priceless, as well as the 30 second walk to the beach. The loft area was fought over by our kids, ages 12,10 and 10. There was a spacious daybed and desk area in the loft. The master bedroom was perfect with a king size sleep number bed. The second bedroom had two twin beds and was so cute! The family room is smallish but it worked fine! The pool was also just a few steps away and was a nice break from the beach. We had no issues during our stay where we needed Ed’s help, but he was available both over phone and text. Ir was perfect for our family, and I got teary eyed when we left. We can’t wait to return next year!

Needed Getaway

Our condo was exactly as described. We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week right on the beach. Access to the beach was a walkway right next to the condo. The beach was beautiful and full of shells.

The Mermaid House

Our stay at The Mermaid House was all we hoped it would be. The views were AMAZING! The beach is literally steps away. The condo had ALL of the necessities for the beach, such as chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. There were cleaning supplies, cooking supplies, toiletries and many other comforts of home. The owner, Ed, was easy to work with even though we had no issues that needed addressed. He had a new washer and dryer delivered while we were there so you can add that to the list of the amenities! We had a great time and our week FLEW by! We definitely recommended renting this condo to anyone that is looking to rent a beautiful place in beautiful Sanibel, FL. **You have to eat at Cheeburger Cheeburger and The Island Cow. We loved them so much we ate at them both twice! Thank you for sharing The Mermaid House with us!

Great beach vacation

You are RIGHT on the beach. Super convenient if your vacation revolves around beach time. The screened in balcony is a great place to drink your morning coffee while you watch the gulf. Ed provided plenty of beach items... chairs, umbrellas, even a few floaties and body boards. The kids loved to read up in the loft. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat. Highly recommend.

Sanibel Condo

My husband and I enjoyed our week on Sanibel Island. Perfect location right on the beach to walk, sea shelling, abundance of wildlife, enjoy the ocean waters and the Florida sunshine. The condo was clean and met fully our needs for the week. The beach chairs, towels, and umbrella was a nice bonus. Ed the owner was very responsive to all questions. Look forward to another stay sometime in the future!

Sanibel escape

The "Mermaid House" was wonderful! The location is close to grocery store, shops, restaurants and the view is absolutely spectacular! The condo had everything we needed and more. The host, Ed, was great as well and good comminication. When we return to Sanibel, this is where we hope to stay again! The pictures don't do this place justice, it is spectacular! Paradise

Waking up to sunshine, blue skies and a gorgeous view of the gulf was wonderful. The location was great for biking to restaurants, shops and places of interest. The beach was beautiful and a terrific place to walk. Our host, Ed, was very accommodating, friendly, responsive, and an Ohio State grad! Its a small world!
