I’ve chosen to live here because it’s where I grew up – and I love it. The area is super central, yet peaceful and family-friendly. Just around the corner you’ll find playgrounds, a small farm, and green parks. It’s a safe and welcoming community with several cafés, restaurants, pharmacies, and large grocery stores all within walking distance.
This part of Oslo is full of history, with charming old neighborhoods nearby. Only a 2-minute walk takes you to Kampen, one of Oslo’s oldest districts, famous for its colorful wooden houses and cozy cafés. The city center is just 5 minutes away by metro, or a 25-minute walk if you’d like to explore more of Oslo on foot.
What I love most about this area is that it truly has everything you need close by, while still offering a warm and friendly neighborhood feel.**
