Thank you very much for your very kind review, Kim! I am very glad you enjoyed the apartment's amenities, which I try to update/renew/expand during my own visits. That's the beauty of the VRBO model, with the owners having a vested interest in the upkeep of their holiday homes. I do hope you recover soon from your leg injury! Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do about the stairs in a 17th century building. So far, during my 12 years of rental activities, all healthy guests have coped well with the stairs. Thanks for the constructive feedback and review. In order to keep improving the guest experience, I have made many big and small improvements in every one of the ten years I have rented out my vacation home. Feedback from friends, family, and guests have been instrumental, always carefully considered, and much appreciated. Unfortunately, I can't easily act on all feedback. Guests who stay longer than a week get various benefits and tokens of my appreciation, including extra cleaning plus change of bed linen and towels. However, it's not practical to give guests different quality bed linen and towels depending on the length of their stay. Together with my local helpers, who also work with other properties and hotels, I have confirmed that the quality of my bed linen and towels is fully in line with what to expect at such a premium property in Montalcino. In order to keep providing the spacious feeling and to accommodate guests who want to put in an extra single bed in the main downstairs bedroom, I can't replace the current wardrobe/dresser with a bigger one. Some very satisfied guests have stayed up to two months in this bedroom and this is the bedroom I use during my own visits. These satisfied long-stay guests may have taken advantage of the spacious custom-made wardrobes on the upper floor in case they had brought a lot of clothes and needed more wardrobe space. Together with my very capable local helpers, I will listen to constructive feedback to keep providing a premium guest experience. This includes providing guests with an updated personal sightseeing guide on what to see and do while in Tuscany and Montalcino, high quality furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, and good customer service. Later this week my local helpers will be happy to show the returning guests the improvements that have just been made to the upstairs shower.
