The apartment was as shown, and clean which is what’s important! It was a good location but the communication with the host was weird. And the landlord came to the door inquiring which was also weird. You can hear all the neighbors and the apt was really cold with no thermostat, but I do think a lot of nyc is like that.

Excellent place! Lots of room and in a great location just a short walk to the subway entrance. Located in Soho area so it is the perfect distance to all the things you'll want to see, but is a more quiet area in the evenings. The apartment is clean and well kept by Flor the housekeeper and she and the owner were really great with communicating to set up check in and let us know all the details for our stay. We felt very safe traveling there as 2 women alone, the apartment building has a keypad or key entry door to get in and the area was well lit at night. The apartment also has many amenities if needed for bigger groups, the beds could very comfortably sleep 2 each if needed and having 2 showers made getting ready a lot easier. We will definitely be recommending this place to any friends planning a trip and will hopefully be able to rebook if we are traveling to NY again in the future!

Getting to the right location was ridiculous. The listing was one #, the check in directions were another # and where we ended up was another apartment #. It was pretty shady. Then It was the coldest weekend and the heat was not really working. There should have been a space heater. At one point we took turns holding the hair dryer to try to warm up. Then there was no wifi/internet. This was so problematic as two out of the four of us had a class to attend and we had to use hot spots and incur additional charges.

WE HAD TO BUY OUR OWN SPACE HEATERS. This apartment was terrible. Small, grimy, no heat. It was a winter storm, 5 degrees farenheit outside and there was no heat and no hot water in the apartment. I contacted the owner as well as his "assistant" Flor and no one would reply to us. The owner would take hours and hours to respond and would just tell us "Sorry im out of town. I dont control the heat. I emailed the building to see if they could do anything." and that was the last we ever heard from him. We ended up having to purchase space heaters from a hardware store. I let the owner know and he didn't even care enough to reply. There were holes in the windows letting 5 degree cold air in. The building is dirty. The apartment is small and not like the photos at all. It was so small there was 4 of us and we couldnt hang out in the "living room" together. This place was horrible please stay away. Do better Jesus.

We are going to proceed legally against this VRBO host as his listing was extremely dirty. There were hairs in the beds, black water, and the floor was extremely sticky. We left this listing and went to stay at a hotel for the entire time and the host still doesn't want to refund us.
Bed had hairs in it before laying in it.
