Great location close to town but not too close. The bed was comfortable the only complaint was the head board and bed frame were very noisy

Location is great

The location is pretty good, the place itself had issues. Not everything was cleaned, I found dishes with stuck on food, gum like substances on the floor, hair on the couch bed (when opened it up). Other than that, the stay was nice, location is great, as I mentioned, but beware, if you get someone living on the top floor - you’ll hear it all day and night long.

Decent value.

They stress cleanliness but the coffee pot was filthy and unusable, the tea kettle had old water in it with a film on the inside and the dishwasher wasn't empty. Some of the pots were old and worn out. Good location and good value for what you get.

Fishing trip

The shower head was broken. I did make a comment about this and someone did come out and attempted to fix it. It was not fixed after I was told that it was. Also the large blind had bent vanes and the rod used to open and close the vanes was not there. I had to grab the little knob to do this.

Cute but strong bleach smell.

First thing we noticed was a strong chemical smell and we had to open window and door to air out. I had some natural essential oil sprays, so I sprayed around to try and cover it up. Then we could not get Wi-Fi for the tv. It continued to give us error messages and even with trying to get help from vacasa. The TV should always be set up to use. So no tv for our 3 day stay.Then when going to bed I realized there was a strong bleach smell coming from the bedding. I got an immediate headache and had to sleep on the couch. The towels smelled the same.We did however later Realize we had some sheets and sleeping bag and for the last night stripped the bed , put in the closet and I was able to sleep on bed. It was way too soft and not comfortable. Plus most of the pillows were hard.With about 20% of the population sensitive to strong chemicals and fake fragrances, you should probably try and switch to all natural cleaning and laundry washing.Especially since my request was known not to use harsh cleaning.Thanks

Damp and dark

The best about the place is that it is within walking distance to the centre of Sun Valley. The not do good part - it feels constantly humid or damp inside the place. Air can barely get in (mind that only one window can open). It’s pretty dark in there too. The picture is showing you exactly what you get in the room with like 1000% increase of lighting. You will never see it that way, even with all shutters up and with all the lamps on. It is dark. But, again, it doesn’t get too hot during summer month. Mind that you will always hear your neighbours (side, and especially above), so if anyone decides to walk in the middle of the night up there - you hear it, if someone takes a shower - you hear a loud dripping noise while the pipes are heating up). But, if you are lucky and have no neighbours and come during winter when it’s not so sunny anyway - you might really enjoy the place, as it is close to the lodge and a village with shops near by.

Great location and homey

We loved the little unit, it was perfect for the two of us. Great location close to restaurants and a short walk to the bus that takes you into Ketchum. Reason I did not leave 5 stars was the bed wasn't comfortable - old and droops into the middle. New bed should be priority for the ownership group.
