Bidwell Park is right outside your door! Room to spread out, relax on the deck, enjoy the jetted bathtub, or turn on the OLED HD 75` TV. Ready to explore? Downtown Chico, Chico State, and Sierra Nevada Brewery are minutes away, or enjoy gorgeous Bidwell Park across the street from your stay, with bike trails, walking paths, and swimming holes. Rec room has bikes, pool table, foosball, and retro arcade game! Spaciously accommodates multiple families.

Windows throughout the home will be sure to delight if natural light is your thing! Downstairs living room and kitchen are open concept and wonderful for gathering. The loft upstairs provides a second living room space, still quite connected with the activity below.

Three bedrooms downstairs:
The 1st is a master that includes a king bed, it`s own 43` TV, and has a bathroom that has a shower.
The 2nd has a queen bed just a little further down the hall with it`s own built in desk work-space.
The 3rd is a spare bedroom off the main living space with a queen bed and a beautiful skylight.

Main hallway bathroom has a luxurious jetted bathtub.

Upstairs is the loft on one side and a large master family suite with an UPGRADED king bed and a bunk bed with a trundle roll out to sleep three additional guests should an entire family want one room to share during their stay or multiple friends looking to bunk together. This bedroom also has a bathroom with a shower and a large walk in closet.

The garage has been transformed into a club house with a pool table, foosball, and bikes!

Finally, there is plenty of parking on sight for all your guests!

Small back patio has a bistro table and cushy swing along with a BBQ. Wrap around front deck has a larger outdoor table and bench. If there are guests in the other home on the property, they may use this outdoor table on the wrap around front deck as well.

The garage is not available to guests, but there are laundry facilities for your convenience and plenty of parking for 5 vehicles or even a trailer.

We live a few minutes away and we`re available if you need anything, but offer self check-in and privacy for your stay.

Vallombrosa is a long street that winds along Bidwell Park with residences on one side and lots of gorgeous trees on the other. Walk across the street and into the park to find beautiful outdoorsy spaces including creekside picnic tables and paved or dirt trails for walking and biking. At this centrally located house, you`ll be a 5-10 minute drive to just about anywhere in Chico.

You`ll have free parking on our property with a wrap-around drive perfect for your horse or car trailers. Getting around via car is easiest in Chico, but Chico is set up with connected bike paths to make it quite amiable for getting around that way as well. If you are interested in information about borrowing bikes, using ride sevices in our area or the bus system feel free to reach out with your questions.

You will have the entire Parkside Place home to yourself! There is another smaller home on the property that will sometimes be occupied by other guests. If so, please note that while you each have your own parking and no shared walls, you may see other guests coming and going from the other home.
No loud noise, especially outdoors after 8:30pm. We have neighbors who are elderly and others who have small children. You can ensure they still enjoy the peacefulness of their homes by keeping your volume respectful when you are using the patio spaces. Most sensitive is the back patio.

Living close to the park means insects are a part of life! We provide bug spray for your adventuring and we do our best with a pest control service that sprays outside. Still, they show up! Please let us know about any bug issues you find in or around the home. We apologize that you may see a few ants or spiders... we are working to monitor this without using chemicals in our home.

No candles. We provide a humidifier/diffuser you may use if you want to bring a scent that feels like vacation to you.
