Entire upstairs 1 bdrm, 1 bth, 800 sq ft suite above artist's studio. Your own carport adjacent to Prvt entrance opens to Great Room. Hickory floors thru-out, tile counters, skylights, dbl pane windows. Kitchen w/full size stove and frig, Propane htr, Evaporative cooler, ceiling fans. Full bath. Lg bdrm w/deck overlooking wildlife pond. Queen bed, desk, lots of built-in cabinets, lg. closet. Peaceful end of road - 5 miles to Grass Vly/Nev.City. Very light and airy feel. Good WIFI, TV available, Artist/owner live in other house on same 5 acres.
This space is special because it has a fantastic close-in view of a large pond where many types of birds including Egret, ducks, geese, Great Blue Heron, frogs and other wildlife (deer, fox, raccoons) abound up close and personal. There are large mouth bass and other fish and turtles in the pond.
We are also one hour from the major ski resorts and I know even closer spots for snowshoeing. I also know where the best kayaking lakes are and there are some real beauties. I am also a hiker and there are tons of trails in this paradise of an area. I also know the music, theater and art scene up here as I have lived here 41 years and am a very active socially.
You will be able to hike the private scenic trail adjacent to our home which meanders along a waterway canal for several miles through the woods
Our hand painted tile shop is on the bottom level below your unit and although I do most of the
work up at my house which is located on the same 5 acres there will be my friend working there two days per week.
