¡En 14 hermosos acres arbolados con tres cascadas vistas desde un porche cubierto y abierto, COCINA Y BAÑOS RECIENTEMENTE ACTUALIZADOS EN MAYO DE 2017!
Highlands / Cashiers ofrece galerías de arte, tiendas, música de cámara, teatro de verano, montañas para escalar, campos de golf, tenis, senderos para caminatas, lagos para nadar, súper lugares para fotografiar y pintar, además de excelentes lugares para cenar.
La cabina tiene dos baños completos, cuatro camas individuales y dos camas queen en cuatro habitaciones (dos en la planta baja) y un balcón con vista a la sala de estar y una gran chimenea de piedra (usa troncos reales). Toda la madera natural y muchas ventanas, cocina ACTUALIZADA: granito y azulejos, lavavajillas, estufa nueva, refrigerador nuevo, microondas empotrado. ¡Y el dormitorio principal tiene lavadora / secadora! AMBOS BAÑOS TOTALMENTE ACTUALIZADOS con azulejos y encimeras de granito. Calentadores de espacio están en cada habitación.
Hay un porche cubierto y un patio con chimenea al aire libre. No hay televisión pero hay un reproductor de DVD, y el servicio celular es excelente.

Exactly what we were looking for

Very cool old house in a perfect location! Loved the waterfall, especially listening to it from the porch. There is a ton of good hiking nearby. We had visits from hummingbirds, lightning bugs, and a (smallish) black bear. Thanks for providing the home base for our vacation!

Wonderful Fall Weekend

We had an excellent stay over a beautiful October weekend. The property is as advertised and even better. We had great communication with the manager, with clear instructions. The property is private and secluded, but close to town. The Fall colors all around us were awesome!

Perfect cabin

This place is awesome. It’s a real cabin, which is hard to find around Highlands these days. The location and the cabin itself help you feel even more in the mountains, rather than removed from them. The waterfall is gorgeous — the owners undersell it if anything! We are already talking about a return trip

Peaceful Place

Our family enjoyed unplugging and unwinding in this very special place. It was just as described and very suitable for our group. We hope to visit again. The location was convenient to town but still secluded.

Cold home great location

Jennifer was great communicating and let us come in early (we did not make it till 4 anyway). When we got there NO heat. Was told there was space heaters--2 for entire house plus 2 more decorative things that gave little heat. Fireplace was great but needed much more wood. Instead of being concerned over my elderly aunt walking down to the waterfall should be concerned over cold house and no heat al all in either bathroom! Speaking of the waterfall--if you have great eyesight (which my 90 year old aunt no longer has) you can a TINY white spot from the porch. You can hear it well. Nice updated kitchen. Granddad did a wonderful job on his home.

Private and cozy

Wonderfly rustic and very private. You can just see the top of the small waterfall from the patio. The host was very gracious and promptly dealt with a plumbing issue we had on arrival. She seemed more bothered by it than we were but it was fixed first thing in the morning. My daughter and son-in-law loved it as well and we plan on returning.

Great cabin!

Our family of four loved our recent stay in this cabin. The cabin feels very homey. The waterfall is beautiful & peaceful. We loved feeling away from it all but only 10 minutes to downtown Highlands.

Charming

Such a lovely, charming old cabin set in the woods with a waterfall tht was so wonderful to hear while sleeping or enjoying the atio or the outdoor fire pit. The big stone fireplace was terrific. We highly recommend it and look forward to the possibility of staying there again.

Beautiful Area and great old cabin with character

This cabin was perfect for a weekend stay for a wedding in the area. The waterfall on the property was beautiful to see and hear from the porch. The cabin has tons of character. Great for families.

Peaceful Retreat

We were four friends who wanted to get away and relax but we wanted to be close to town. This place was perfect! We enjoyed listening to the sound of the waterfall and the comfortable environment. We all agreed this was the best place ever.

Great rustic cabin, short drive to town

The cabin is exactly as described, and the kids enjoyed the waterfall. The path down is quite steep, but kids and most adults could do it. Everything was in good working order, we did use the heaters and fireplace in the evenings (even in July) but that was sufficient to warm up, and the days were lovely. There were some bugs, but it is a cabin in the woods. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc… The owners were very responsive to all of our questions, overall it was a great trip!

This property has been in our family since the the 30's, when my grandfather helped build it. My mother placed all 14 acres in a conservation easement just months before her death in 2011, and its serenity and rustic character are a legacy to a simpler way of life and a respect and love of nature.

This is a cabin where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of electronics and city life. Artists have come here to paint, writers to reflect, and families to enjoy time together. There are numerous places to hike and swim nearby, as well as hikes and waterfalls on the property.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

When you go to sleep at night, you can hear the waterfall from the bedroom on the side of the house. You can eat on the porch and see the waterfall. The 14 acres make it quiet and peaceful but you are only a 10-minute drive from the town of Highlands, and only 15-20 minutes from Cashiers.
