La Unidad # 1051 es una unidad de planta baja con 2 dormitorios, 2 baños, lavandería en la suite y una cocina totalmente equipada. El complejo Mariner Pointe está ubicado hacia el extremo este de la isla y está compuesto por 100 unidades ubicadas a lo largo de la Bahía de San Carlos. Mariner Pointe es un excelente complejo que ofrece una variedad de amenidades agradables para sus huéspedes y tiene la ubicación ideal con fácil acceso de entrada y salida a la calzada de Sanibel y está cerca de playas cercanas, senderos para bicicletas, tiendas y restaurantes. Great location, close to everything.

Location was great. Pool was warm. Fishing was great from the fishing pier and sea wall. Great jump off point for biking the island. Easy bike ride to lighthouse beach. Definitely would stay again at Mariner Pointe when on Sanibel Island.

Fishing was great along the sea wall and on the fishing pier. And access was easy right off the end of the causeway once on island. Would definitely book a return trip to Sanibel Island and Mariner Pointe.

We would rent it next year too, but unfortunately it’s being removed from the rental market. We like staying at Mariner Pointe; it’s a great location on the island. The complex is beautiful and the bay views are fantastic!

Great view of Bay

Our stay at Mariner Pointe was nothing short of spectacular. Views of the Bay, access to the canal for kayaking, constant sightings of dolphins, manatees and other marine life were some of the delights. The residents that we came into contact with were wonderful and created a real sense of community. The condo was everything it professed to be and was a very comfortable home away from home. SBL Vacations couldn't have been more accommodating. We had a few mechanical issues while we were there and they quickly and professionally handled them. We will be back next year!

Our stay at Sanibel island

It truly is a beautiful and quaint area. I believe the clientele served is more to the senior side. Is definitely not a spring break destination if you have teenagers. The condo was fine, but there was nothing to set it a part.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I thought the town was charming and I thought the location of the condo was wonderful. But I do think that a handful of amenities would really help this place. Buy some hangers, they were four. Salt and pepper shakers would have been a nice touch and maybe a starter coffee set so we could get going the first morning. It was so Stark it just wasn't inviting. Buy a new curtain rod for shower and remove the rusty one that was there. I think that small things can add up to be big things, just make it more inviting. Lastly, we found one receptacle that would hold the plugs from our electronics. My kids are always charging things and the plugs would fall out of receptical everytime. Minor things, easy to fix.

A Beautiful, Quiet Enclave

This particular location is wonderful for people seeking excellent, relaxing water views without a lot of visitor traffic. The condo was clean and well maintained; the grounds offered a beautiful swimming pool and tennis court, in a manicured, garden-like setting. There were also plenty of birds and aquatic wildlife to enjoy.

A nice place with an awesome view.

We arrived late, but check-in was simple. In my opinion, the location of the condo is great. You're close to the causeway on/off the island, and you're a short drive (or bike ride) into town for food/beach, etc. The water view from the unit is as advertised, if not better. You routinely see dolphins swimming by and pelicans crash diving into the water after fish. The unit itself showed obvious signs of its age. I chalk it up to the age of everything, but it didn't come across as the cleanest of condos. Not in shambles by any means, but certainly not going to win any awards. At the end of the day, it's a nice place on the water, so we were happy, and we really enjoyed our stay. The provided beach chairs and umbrella were greatly appreciated! We rented bikes for the week (highly recommended), and the bike rack is conveniently right next to the unit.

1st time in Sanibel

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was nice. It was a good price for a peak time during spring break. I liked that is was not right on the beach, so a bit quieter. But the beach is just 6 min biking distance. The condo furnishings were a bit worn (ie. needs some repainting, some maintenance from wear and tear), but overall not in shambles. I liked the condo people around who own their own condos and seem very invested in the community. They were very friendly at the pool and the fishing dock!

Our condo was just what we wanted; plenty of space, clean, great waterfront view from the lanai, and most importantly, close to all the restaurants and destinations we wanted. We particularly enjoyed Cip's Place (went there for 3 meals) and Dante's. The Edison/Ford Museum in Fort Myers is a must along with the 'Ding' refuge.
