Acogedora, sombreada, cabaña frente al lago en un lote privado de 2 acres, a 15 minutos de las comodidades. Recientemente renovado con 2 dormitorios, baño con bañera y ducha, cocina completa y lavadora. Unidades de control de clima individual en cada habitación. Duerme seis, cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio principal; literas en la segunda habitación, sofá cama en la sala de estar. Gran patio soleado; cubierta cubierta para días de lluvia; hamacas, estufa de leña para esas tardes frescas. Dos tablas de paddle stand-up, dos kayaks y una barbacoa en canoa, propano y carbón.

Amazing cottage

We absolutely loved our vacation at this amazing cottage! Cottage is fully loaded with everything you need. Lots of outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the beautiful property. We will definitely arrange to come back.

Peaceful cottage

The cottage and land are nice and peaceful. The lake is lovely, large, and great to explore on a boat. It was too cold for us to swim, but I'm sure it would be nice in the summer! Many areas outdoors to sit and relax. The owner was easy to contact and communicate with!

Great Lake for flat water kayaking

I enjoyed the lake and brought my own kayak and was able to kayak 22km one day with more to explore the following days. Unfortunately, fishing off the dock proved fruitless. You would need a motor boat to do fishing. This was disappointing. Great campfire with everything needed. The bathroom and kitchen were not very clean however cleaning products were left out and I was able to clean. The couch smelled like wet dog and only one portion was cushioned enough to sit on it. I was glad to have brought extra sheets to sit on the couch. Enjoyed being in nature and on a great lake to flat water kayak.

Everything you could ask for

This property is very well maintained and is setup for a person/group of people to just show up with their linens (during COVID protocols), food and drinks. Everything else is accounted for: multiple zero gravity chairs, many Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, chopped wood (both new and old), lighters, liquid fire starter, bug repellent & mobile bug zappers, fishing equipment, canoe, kayaks and SUP (stand up paddle board) with paddles, personal flotation devices, kitchen equipment (keurig-style coffee maker with both 1 cup and pot setup; cutlery for a large family; variety of kitchen utensils; plates, bowls, cups, mugs, glasses, mixing bowls, pots, pans, casserole dishes with lids; wash cloths and drying towels; dish soap; dish rack; garbage cans pre-lined with garbage bags; recycling bin; bottled water; wine chiller/beer fridge; regular fridge; microwave, stove; plastic wrap and bags, and so much more)! Beds are comfortable with foam top mattresses. Each room has its own adjustable AC unit with remotes (very high tech and chic). Smart TVs in the master bedroom and livingroom. Fully functional 4 piece bathroom with a washing machine in there too! Bunkbed has a lot of space between the bottom bunk and top, with a low profile bottom bunk. Both rooms have wardrobes in it with a lot of storage room. There is a well-maintained gravel driveway from the cottage to the boat launch, as well as a well-maintained dock and gazebo (with plenty of seating there too). 2 BBQ's - 1 by the fire pit and 1 on the deck. SO MUCH seating all around the cottage's wrap around porch, with comfy and tastefully decorated pillows. The property is also setup with well-placed lights, making it safe to navigate at night if needed. The property owners are communicative, helpful and friendly. They have put a lot of work, thought, and effort into this property and it shows in all of the big and little things. Sure, people complain about the weeds around the dock, but this is Ontario and Ontario lakes at that...if that's the only thing to complain about, this is still paradise. Thank you!

Weedy Waterfront

Clean Water front is shallow and very weedy. We wish this was in the description of the property. My kids had to paddle out quite far to go swimming. The paddle boat was not operational.

It was a beautiful, quiet setting during the weekdays: no neighbours were around. We enjoyed the lake and the boats, the porch and the hummingbirds, and our friends the turkeys. We would visit again. I recommend bringing additional lighting in case of rain as the living area of the cottage gets dark when it is stormy. Lanterns were provided, but we did not have batteries for them (and were too lazy to go to Sharbot Lake to get them...). Small rechargeable reading lights were available.

GREAT COTTAGE!

This cottage was perfect for the five of us (two 50's adults and two 19 year old's and a little dog) ! Great location to get away. Beautiful spot with a huge lot on the water. Lots of gorgeous places to sit and hang out together or curl up on your own with a good book. There is an abundance of outdoor games and water toys for everyone to use. Although the water off the dock is very weedy, we took a short paddle to the other side of the small island where there was a deeper hole for swimming. It was in the 30's everyday, so for the brief periods we were inside the AC in every room was comforting. Everything you could want INSIDE a cottage is available...cards, games, wifi , movies, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds etc... They've put a lot of thought into providing everything one could need. Lots of wildlife around...deer, turkeys, ducks, geese and the hummingbirds. Sitting on the deck with morning coffee and watching the hummingbirds was amazing. Thank you Sheri & Brian!

Great stay at the cottage!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There were lots of nice touches we appreciated, including lots of lawn games, and great DVD selection for our one rainy day. Unfortunately there isn’t much place for swimming near the cottage due to the seaweed and lily pads, but somewhat better swimming when you head out on a boat, but this is harder for those who have young kids. We did find a beach area near sharbot lake to take the baby for a swim.

Picture Perfect!

Booking was efficient and swift as was all communications with the property owners. Location was easy to find. Property inside and out was lovely and well equipped! Everything listed was available, in working order and as advertised! Outside area is very large and well maintained. The owners have clearly put some time and care into planning this property. The long back porch is tastefully furnished and overlooks the entire property with a "picture perfect" view! We also enjoyed the designated bonfire area at night with plenty of wood on hand :) Canoe, kayaks and floating devices were thoroughly enjoyed.....the water was calm and tranquil. Life jackets & paddles were provided. Plenty of novel fishing from the dock. Not an ideal area for swimming but we preferred boating and floating anyway. Inside the cottage is very comfortable, clean and tidy. Air conditioning.....in all rooms!! Beds were comfortable and kitchen is well equipped and with extra supplies on hand if needed. We saw a deer upon just entering the property, we saw a blue heron, loons, wild turkeys (yep) and even a visit from a very friendly dog. We will miss the humming birds! My family and I had a great week and would certainly recommend this property, it truly is a lovely quite spot. Plenty of things to do and plenty of places to kick-up your feet and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings or just read a book.

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful 3 nights. The cottage was spotless and well maintained, but we spent almost all our time outdoors on the beautiful property. The kayaks and canoe were awesome, great lake to paddle on, we had a campfire every night and just enjoyed relaxing in the many peaceful sitting spots. Tons of lawn games also available! Just a great time all around and we'll be back for sure.

Great cottage for R&R

We had a great 4 days at this cottage. It is well equipped with everything you need. Hotel style white linens and towels. Very impressed. It was clean and comfortable. Lots of outside seating space for whatever you want to do. Awesome SUPs too!

A lovely, newly renovated modern cottage.

After deciding that we would gladly return here to vacation next year the only thing that we would additionally bring with us is a duvet large enough to cover the main bed (there were lot's of blankets, just not one big enough to cover the bed in one shot.) There was a surplus of clean towels, wash cloths, firewood and propane. The stove and microwave are powerful. I've rented cottages all over Ontario and let me tell you, this is a good one.

Beautiful cottage

The cottage is pretty private. Although there are neighbouring cottages on both sides, their view is obscured well by trees. Both were vacant during our stay. The cottage has everything you would ever need to enjoy your stay. Fully equipped kitchen, lots outdoor furniture, wifi, and lots of outdoor activities. It was clean and well kept. The bay where the cottage it located is quite shallow, but there are lots of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards to explore and reach deeper water.

Great cottage for some R&R

We booked this cottage for 4 nights. We were impressed upon arrival at the hotel like clean white sheets and abundance of new white towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and a solid selection of dvds for rainy days. The deck is very relaxing with plenty of seating areas for you to enjoy. The cottage is well equipped for life in the outdoors. (Flashlights, bug spray, bug zapper rackets etc.). The water is a bit weedy but a quick paddle out on the awesome SUP's and you can swim. The lake water is clear and you can see lots of fish. We had a great time. It is exactly what we needed!!! Also the individual split level a/c units are amazing!

Great little cottage

Brian's cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. The property is well thought out with many comfy areas for relaxing. The water was amazing and we just had to row out to toward the middle of the lake for great swimming (no reeds). Communication with Brian was very easy. Thanks Brian!

Can’t se im or fish from deck was a bummer. We left a night early as a result .

Too much seaweed from deck that you could fish near by or from deck no near by beaches for swimming . And you need your own boat to be able to enjoy better.

Private cottage on Bob's Lake

The lake was fantastic for canoeing on. The lake looks like it would be good fishing, but we didn't partake in the sport. If you love being in the water, this is not the lake for it as it is very weedy throughout the whole lake. Which was a bummer for us. It says free wi-fi and cell phone signal, which means not too often. Three days in a row we could not make a call and when we did get through, the call was very short as we kept losing the signal. The dryer was not working and the clothesline was down which was unfortunate as we were spending the first week in South Algonquin and our clothes were soaked with mosquito repellent and everyday use. When I first booked it was advertised with a washer and dryer and now I do not see the dryer under amenities. We had booked this cottage as it was advertised with a washer and dryer but we could not use either. If we had known, we would have booked elsewhere, closer to where we were first staying and paid a lesser fee for a cottage with no washing machine and dryer. The grounds outside and the cottage inside is exactly what was advertised. And thankfully the air conditioning inside kept us from over heating as it was quite hot during the days and evenings. The cottage and property could hold a good crowd for those who want to share with another family or a guys getaway for the fishing benefits. Overall the cottage was pretty well what was advertised.

Beautiful property, well maintained cottage, everything you need

This was a great property with lots of places to sit outdoors and shade. It was very clean and had nice bedding and was well appointed with whatever we needed. The area around the dock is a bit weedy so if you want to swim you may want to go out a little bit. We were there during a heatwave and the AC made a huge difference. It is a great spot for a very easy getaway where basically all you need to pack is food and clothes.
