El espacio

River House fue construido en el verano de 2017 con su histórico barrio de molinos en mente. La casa original data de la década de 1890 y verá muchos detalles históricos en la casa, como fotos, mapas y libros. Hay toques funky y artísticos alrededor de la casa, que incluyen pinturas grandes y algunas obras más pequeñas de artistas locales. Este es un barrio histórico único y el río gira a través de él. Al final de la calle está el Molino Chace, que tiene una cafetería vegana y un estudio de yoga. La casa de huéspedes es completamente privada y está unida a nuestra casa unifamiliar. Compartimos un patio trasero y podríamos cruzarnos en el vestíbulo afuera de su entrada principal.

Tenemos dos cámaras de seguridad exteriores para la seguridad de nuestros huéspedes y la nuestra. Son claramente visibles cerca de la entrada a River House y sobre el camino compartido. ¡No hay cámaras adentro!

Had such a dreamy, delightful stay here. The hosts very thoughtfully provided everything we needed and more, from sleep masks to homemade granola to spices in a fully equipped kitchen. Loved the garden right outside the window and appreciated the treats they left for my and my boyfriend’s anniversary. Would absolutely recommend & hope to stay here again if we return to Burlington.

The Tiny House was very clean and organized/stocked. Eva was a great host - we knew she was available if we needed anything but we didn't as it was well stocked. Extra touches like home-made granola and a guide book to the house and area were a nice touch. We enjoyed being able to walk over to Winooski, which has several really good restaurants was great. We highly recommend the Tiny House for a VT stay.

Great location in Winooski (very close to Burlington) with lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. Tiny house had ample room with a lovely outdoor space. A charming little house along the river. Despite its small size, it was stocked with just about everything you need for a weekend or a weeklong trip, but it is quite small; if you need a lot of room to cook, use the bathroom, packed a lot of items for your trip, etc., then this is not the place for you. But if you enjoy staying in eclectic, fun places, and right in a local neighborhood, this is a great place for 1or 2 travelers. A convenient walk, bike, or car ride to many of the enjoyable activities in and around Burlington, VT.

My husband and I loved everything about our stay. The property is fantastic with a beautiful garden, lots of privacy and you can hear the falls. Inside was just as beautiful with so many delightful details, personal artwork and comfortable accommodations. The hammock chair was my personal favorite spot for morning coffee. Within walking distance of great food and drink. Great location to drive to Burlington. Zero notes. Wish our stay had been longer than 2 nights.

An absolutely beautiful gem!

My partner and I wanted a quick and simple getaway to do some hiking and explore the possibility of staying in a tiny home. The River House exceeded every single expectation of ours. Not only was the property pristinely clean from top to bottom, but the decor was perfect- very well thought out, which we appreciated and enjoyed. The bed was comfy and there were plenty of fans for the warmer summer days (also an ac but we did not need it). There was a special nook downstairs for lounging or using as another bed. In that space there is a hanging swing a very generous sized TV with all the streaming services! We really felt the authenticity of the area and the space. The bathroom was a great size for a tiny home. Plenty of room to move around and a good sized shower.Communicating with Eva was a joy! She gave us clear instructions on how to get in. Everything about this stay and location was well thought out. From the quality of things like kitchen staples and bath products to the superior construction of the space itself, this was a relaxing stay and a short walk to downtown Winooski. A mere stones throw from the river. The gardens around the property are so sweet and everything was in full bloom. Hummingbirds and pollinators galore. It was also fenced in which was nice to create the feeling of being in a little oasis. We just can’t say enough good things and we are already planning our next trip! Highly recommend!

We were very happy in this cozy “tiny house”. The garden was lovely, and being able to sit outside in the mornings and evenings was a real treat. It was great to be within walking distance to so many restaurants. The noise from the military jets was a bit challenging, but just a brief annoyance.

My best friend and I were traveling through Vermont to celebrate turning 50. This riny house was rhe perfect stay for our Burlington stop. I loved hearing the falls ar night. The location was amazing and she had everything you could possible think of needing during our stay. We will definitely remember this stop for the future!!

River House

Amazing stay! Place was clean and bright. Comfortable accommodations and quick walk to town. The hammock swing chair inside was incredible to sit in with the doors open listening to the river roll by. Recommend 10 out of 10.

Delightful space

My husband and I stayed here during our kid's Senior Week at Champlain College, so we could enjoy the area before graduation. It's conveniently located to both that college, to UVM, an easy walk to Winooski, and in driving distance to many outdoor activities. The tiny house itself is beautiful and comfortable; and we would absolutely stay there again. Eva is a thoughtful host; this space has extras I don't usually see in short term rentals.

Mother / Daughter trip to Burlington

We arrived a bit later than anticipated to the house. The lights were on, the house was easy to enter, and set up for the two of us to stay. The house has every light, charger, fan, kichen utensil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and granola neatly organized in this cute space.The granola is delicious and a nice touch with the yogurt or milk provided. We spent more time relaxing in the house than I origainally thought we would. I did let the teenager with me set the pace. We will return to this space if it is available. I looked at futrue dates that work for us and it is rented and I understand why!

Wonderful accommodations!

The tiny house exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail in the design, furnishing and stocking of the house made the space seem bigger than it is, while still being very cozy on a frigid weekend. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We hope to return!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful both the property and the host are! This tiny house is kept in immaculate condition and the host did an incredible job communicating with us prior to and during our stay! Looking forward to our next stay at this incredible spot!
