Everything was great!! Appliances were clean and in great condition, all the cooking equipment you need. Rooms were comfortable and beds were cozy. Our favorite part was the hot tub & game room! Beautiful home and fantastic hosts!

Our family had the best time staying at this cabin! The hosts are on top of everything and very responsive. The cabin has so many special touches and places to relax. Our kids were enchanted by the children’s bedroom. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

A beautiful, bright cabin with modern amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. Such a wonderful stay for families, our toddlers loved the little playground and outdoor tent, along with the sweet kids bedroom. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. We really loved our stay and hope to be back!

We stayed here with our three children while I was a guest speaker at a local Christian camp. The property provided a perfect location in relation to the camp (less than 5 minutes from Alpine Camp). The stuff for kids is very helpful. My kids loved the bunkbed slide and cried when they had to leave the bed behind. The backyard playground was enjoyable, although kids need to wear shoes due to the rocky terrain. For older kids, the game room would be awesome (table tennis, pool, arcade, etc) but for littles (our kids are 2, 4, and 6) it was of less interest. The property is very well kept. There are a fair amount of breakable things so you have to watch littles closely. We unfortunately had a broken vase situation but the property owner was very gracious for which we were very grateful. Also, the dining room furniture has fabric which we worried about with the kids general messiness. We ended up placing some towels down in the dining area which helped prevent mess. One great benefit was the use of the ALA card which allowed us to go to grass valley park. This is about 5 minutes away with a playground and lake good for fishing. Overall, we had a great stay and the hosts were extremely kind/understanding/helpful. We would recommend this as a great place for a family to stay. If you’re a camp speaker at Alpine, stay here! Thanks.

We had a great stay, and our kids enjoyed the kid friendly room, and outside area. The light switches were a little quirky and some were on a timer and the lighting was pretty dim in the bathroom and bedrooms. The backyard wasn’t maintained well and there was a safety hazard with the black ground cover under the swing set. The owners said I could cut it to make it safer but ultimately I decided not to. The weeds were overgrown and if you had sandals on they poked your feet and there were also broken items that never got thrown out (yard decorations etc). The jacuzzi was great, but the temp was too low and the cleaners forgot to set it higher. A little disappointing but I never checked it when we checked in so that’s my fault. The master bed was comfy but we sunk down in the middle.

We had a wonderful stay. The place is exactly as featured in the photos. The hosts have gone the extra mile by labeling all the kitchen cupboards and drawers making it easy to find things. They have also listed important phone numbers and there is a book listing the various birds and plants in the area. There was a minor problem with small ants though there was a box of ant traps available. My only complaint was the fan in the garage game room wasn't working and the garage door couldn't be opened. It was extremely hot in there, but also so much fun. A word of caution....there is a step down into the living room from the entrance. It can be a jolting experience if you miss the step. Over all we had a great, fun time at this beautiful place.

I am so happy you had a wonderful stay. I do wished you would have let me know about the fan in the garage. I would have let you know there was a 3 way switch located behind the coffee maker that was labeled. I guess the house was wired that way to turn off power to the garage. Thank you for the suggestion of putting some sort of warning tape for the step down from the Foyer to the livingroom. I do hope you made lasting memories.
