We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful apartment with easy access to everything! The neighborhood is upscale and charming, with pubs, bakeries, pharmacy, and groceries and a tube stop within a 10-minute walk. Easy to take the tub or taxi into the center of London, nearby Notting Hill, and other great locations. The apartment itself was perfect -- updated amenities, roomy bedrooms, comfortable living room and dining area, and lovely bathrooms/kitchen. The heated floors throughout were especially luxurious in the cold weather (and can be turned off when it's warm out). The hosts were welcoming, left good information about the apartment, and were quick to reply when we had minor logistical questions. I will plan to rent this apartment any time I'm in London!

Wonderful Stay

We had a perfect stay. The apartment is in a wonderful location, a very short walk to Holland Park tube station, with coffee shops and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend it and we look forward to returning!

Wonderful Stay in beautiful Holland Park

The property was great for our family of 4. Our teenagers 13, 15 had plenty of space in the second bedroom. The property overall was unexpectedly large for London. The bathrooms were new and well appointed. The kitchen had everything you need and we appreciated all the basics were covered off. The place itself is located super close to restaurants and the train station making it very convenient to explore London. The street is very pretty and quiet. We all loved our stay here!

We had a great time st this apartment in Highland park. It was convenient to the tube, we frequented the local restaurants, and there was a grocery store just two blocks up. We even claimed the local pub as our own!

Great stay for 9 days in London

Very seamless stay at great property in South Kensington. Minutes from the grocery store, several coffee, shops, and a tube station. Clean and perfect for our family of 4. Would highly recommend to others staying in the area. Beautiful neighborhood and great flat to come home to at the end of a busy day.

Christmas trip

We brought our two teenage boys overseas for their first trip to Europe and loved the apartment. It had plenty of room, loved the multiple bathrooms, everything you’d want in the kitchen and very convenient location. When I had questions prior to the trip they were good about responding with answers and suggestions. Loved that there was a laundry!! Incredible experience.

Nice stay

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the apartment and neighborhood. It is as listed and the beds and furniture were decent. The kitchen is well outfitted. The neighborhood has all the essentials like a grocery store, restaurants and coffee shops. The only complaint is there was a strong cleaning supply scent upon arrival that lasted most of the stay. There was also a strange odor in the bathroom and closet in the guest bedroom that we couldn’t figure out. The host was easy to communicate with.

Wonderful location and updated flat in Holland Park

This flat is the perfect location to explore London, yet not stay in middle of the craziness of central London. My family of 4 (kids age 11 & 14) loved staying here. The flat is 2 blocks to the Holland Park Tube (and grocery store, coffee shops, pub, etc), and 8-10 min walk to the Shepard's Bush tube stop. The flat is very up to date with everything you need in the kitchen, and wonderful to have 2.5 baths. Would highly recommend this flat for either 2 couples, or a family of 4 (maybe a family 5 if everyone gets along well!!). Flat is clean and furnishings are all up to date. Holland Park is a great & quiet neighborhood to serve as a home base for exploration. Check in procedure was smooth with keys waiting at the flat for us. Would absolutely stay here again (and hope to!!).

Great Location, Good space inside

Well represented VRBO property. Well furnished, excellent location. We had husband, wife and three 7 yo kids. Great park and playground very short walk. Two Underground stations about even distance, Shepherds Bush or Holland Park. Showers can't really be used at the same time, as water pressure gets very low. Clothes dryers are in a room with VERY LOW ceiling, which I either didn't notice on the listing or wasn't stated. It may be normal for London basement apartments, but it was pretty uncomfortable for a 6'1" person to get in and out of that room. Only issue we had was fridge stopped working. Communicaiton was excellent, and I think we'd stay again if we wanted to be in that area of London.

Perfect Holland Park Base

This lovely flat was perfect for our 10 day London stay. We have family in town but didn't want to stay so far from the city center &we wanted to have our own space. Holland Park is a lovely area to be in for a tourist visit to London. The flat has a common area with doors to close it off from the street noise - not that the bedroom in the back of the flat had much noise. our kids stayed in the front bedroom and with the 2 separate beds, it was perfect for them. We did hear quite a few ambulances as I think there is a hospital nearby.. but, in the back bedroom we hardly heard them. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. We used it for coffee (the french press worked great), breakfast prep & the occasional dinner we brought home from some of the delicious, local italian restaurants. We were grateful to be able to wash our clothes in the washers... they were a bit confusing to use as they are different from American appliances. But, we figured it out. There were extra snacks in the cupboard &a large assortment of tea which we appreciated for the kids. Our kids got food poisoning from the Old Swan pub sadly and the kids were home for a day resting up. It was nice to have 3 bathrooms for us all. And Fleur's dad came (on a sunday!) to help fix the TV that we couldnt get to work for the kids the day they were home. Fleur also was so responsive when i asked for washcloths too! note: when you text Fleur she doesn't get the text until later as she is on EST (eastern time).

Perfect location for exploring London

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at this property in the charming Holland Park neighborhood. The apartment was a short walk to the Holland Park Underground stop, conveniently located on the Central line, and a short walk to the Notting Hill stop, with even more transit options. Between the Underground and the apartment was everything you'd need -- small grocery stores, bakeries, a pharmacy, a wonderful pub (The Castle) and a Starbucks for Americans like us who still crave a large drip coffee in the morning! The apartment was very comfortable and having a third bathroom was nice. We had a couple very minor complaints -- there are no closets available to hang clothing, the front bedroom is a bit noisy (so consider ear plugs or the provided floor fan, which really helped) and the bathroom light in the second bedroom would never shut off (they're all on automatic switches). But those are minor things and it was a perfect place for our family, which included three adults and a teenager. Extra points for allowing us to check-in at 10 am on the morning our overnight flight arrived. That made a HUGE difference! We would happily stay in Fleur's wonderful place again on future visits to London!

Wonderful Stay in Holland Park

We had an absolutely lovely time staying in this flat with our family. My husband and I brought our 1 year old to visit his family in London. We felt completely at home at this property and did not want to leave for the countryside. The 2 bedrooms were more than we needed but perfect. Everything is very clean and comfortable. It was great to be able to use the dishwasher, washer and dryer for our daughter. The living room and dining room were perfect for us to spend time both with our daughter and while she was napping/sleeping. There is a door that closes to the front part of the house which made it super quiet for our daughter. The property is located in a great neighborhood near great shops, Westfield, Nottinghill, Holland Park and Hyde Park. We hope to come back to this flat next time we visit! It was a wonderful stay! I cannot say enough good things.

Excellent Residence

We had a wonderful time in London. This apartment was clean, well furnished and has everything you could need to cook up a delicious meal. We loved how close it was to the tube, supermarket and a bunch of cute shops including a wonderful bookstore, coffee and restaurants. The apartment felt like a second home for us and our children.

Excellent family option

This property was perfect for our family of four. We were walking distance from the Central underground line which allowed us to move around London. The traffic crazy so being close to the underground is key. The neighborhood had all the things we needed as far a groceries.

Great place to stay in London!

We had a great visit to London and this property was perfect for our family of 4 - 2 adults + 2 teenagers. The property was as described - all the amenities we needed to "feel at home" and clean and functioning. This location made us feel like we were "living" in London versus just visiting with the nice neighborhood and shops nearby. For us, not being in the middle of downtown but a short walk to a tube was perfect. After long day of site seeing it felt like we were "going home" each day to a quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again!

Overall a good place, a few issues

The flat is large and functions well. The location is good in a residential area of Holland Park. The only issues we had were (1) the décor is old and not particularly nice, even for a short term rental and (2) when we tried to contact the local representative listed on the fact sheet at the flat because of some issues with the dryer the email response was that she terminated her position in mid-2018. We never received a response to our questions.

Hi Brandon, Thank you for your honest opinion. We are sorry you did not get through to either myself or our agent however before arrival we provided you with both contacts and if we had a message we would have been sure to respond immediately. Regarding the decor - the sofa is a brand new loaf sofa, there are several high quality and new items such as chest of drawers and chairs. Our bedding, towels and pillows are all high quality and recently replaced. Our dryer is brand new. It is however british system and needs emptying of water tray which some US guests are not aware of. I hope you managed to enjoy yourself.

Great stay in London

This apartment had everything we needed for a wonderful weeklong stay in London. A lovely street with quiet neighbors. The rooms were large and it was great to have the washer and two dryers. Kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The most comfortable bed I have ever stayed in on a trip! The patio was also a nice amenity. Location is great in a beautiful and safe neighborhood - a short walk to the central line tube and a bus stop right outside the front door. Also grocery stores and restaurants within close walking distance. This was a great place for our family of 4. Would stay again!

Large, convenient space in Holland Park

The space more than met our needs, with two very large bedrooms, two ensuite bathrooms and a powder room. The master bedroom was completely quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a separate laundry area with TWO driers. The outside area--a rarity in central London--was spacious and pleasant, though one must always be prepared for rain! We found the location extremely convenient with a bus stop literally steps from the door. The nearest tube stop is a five-minute walk away and a huge shopping center, 15 minutes. There are numerous shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Holland Park is a beautiful area. The owner was very friendly, solicitous of our wellbeing, and immediately answered any questions we had.
