Welcome to Cornerstone Haven on Lake Sutherland—one of the most pristine lakes in North America. This thoughtfully designed home features one private bedroom, two separate sleeping lofts, and two bathrooms, offering comfortable space for families and groups. One loft is accessed by a ladder and includes a full-size bed, while the second loft is accessed via a spiral staircase and offers two twin beds. Soaring ceilings and abundant natural light highlight the open layout, while lake access, sweeping mountain views, and a spacious deck provide the perfect setting for morning coffee or sunset evenings. Ideally located between entrances to Olympic National Park, this retreat blends comfort, adventure, and serenity.
This lakeside home features an open floor plan and comfortably hosts up to 8 guests. Inside you’ll find:
- 1 Bedroom with a queen bed
- 2 Lofts (one with a full bed, one with two twins)
- 2 Bathrooms
- Living Room with additional Murphy bed
- Well-stocked kitchen, dining area, washer & dryer
We provide all the basics so you can feel right at home:

Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this home is a perfect base to explore Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
Guest will have access to entire home, deck, and shared lake front access.
We respect our guests’ privacy and want you to feel at home. The property offers self check-in, so you can arrive at your convenience. While you’ll have plenty of privacy during your stay, our team is always available via Airbnb messaging, text, or phone call if you need anything.
The lofts are open air, they do not have walls.
The lake access is shared with others in the Maple Grove community.
Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility to the lake house or causes a power outage. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties
*There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*
-Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. Direct bookings (website): 4% fee. This fee covers third-party processing costs and is not retained by us. Thank you for understanding!
-Please attend to all children when around the lake. We recommend use of life vests for children and non-swimmers. Always swim with others around for safety purposes. Swimming is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to insure your safety and the safety of those in your party.
-Use loft ladder at your own risk.
- Children and infants are welcome; however, the property is not child-proofed. We do not provide baby gates, outlet covers, cabinet locks, corner guards, or other child-safety items. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times and ensuring their safety during the stay.
-Because we keep our home sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
-We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in house.
-Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.
-No smoking is allowed inside the home. Guests who do so will be charged a cleaning fee of $500. Smoking is allowed outside but cigarette butts must be disposed of properly
-No illegal drugs allowed, it`s the law.
-Please be respectful of our neighbors and the lake. You`d be surprised how sound travels across the lake. Quiet hours after 9pm. Violators are subject to a $250 fine.
-Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 65 degrees when not in use.
-We are honored you decided to choose our lakeside cabin, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. This cabin is for registered guests only. There should be no more than 4 guests at the cabin.
-No pets allowed
-PARKING – Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked at the house or in the parking lot near the house. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
-Please stay out of the storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.
-Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the home.
-We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.
-Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.
-Check-out: Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise talked about with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.
-PERSONAL ITEMS
Please check the home for any of your personal items left behind. It is extra work for our cleaners to gather the items, take them to the post office and ship them. For any items left behind we are happy to mail them out however there will be a $50 charge to pay for our time.
- For security reasons, lost keys or gate fobs require full replacement and reprogramming. In the event either is lost, a minimum fee of $200 will apply.
-Violations of these rules can result in additional fees or immediate cancelation of your reservation and removal from the property without refund.
-Guest(s) shall fully hold harmless Wanderers Choice LLC and its associates from any and all claims, lawsuits, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever including without limitation all claims for monetary loss, property damage, equitable relief personal injury and/or wrongful death.
