This was one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had, and it completely ruined my vacation.The property was not ready or as advertised at check-in. The pool was green and unusable the entire stay, the entertainment room AC did not work, and the projector was broken with no remote. Several kitchen drawers were also damaged.I contacted the host immediately and was told repairs would be made, but no one showed up. After following up again with no response, I escalated to Vrbo—only to find out the host falsely claimed everything had been fixed.Multiple pool technicians came out and confirmed the pool was unsafe and needed at least 48 hours to treat due to lack of chlorine and improper chemical levels. By the time it was almost usable, I was checking out—so we never got to use it.The “fix” for the entertainment room was sending a cleaning person who only replaced batteries. Nothing was actually repaired. On top of that, the main house AC broke during my stay in the Florida heat, and it took all day to address.This property is falsely advertised and very poorly maintained. The host was unresponsive and dishonest, and a 30% refund does not come close to compensating for the experience.Avoid this property at all costs.
