Tucked away at the quiet end of the road in Legacy Mountain Resort, Sanctuary in the Smokies is a private mountain cabin built for views, comfort, and family fun. Enjoy sweeping 180° views of Mt. LeConte and the Smoky Mountains from two spacious decks, then unwind in the private hot tub after a day in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or Dollywood.

Inside, the cabin is designed for groups who want more than just a place to sleep. Most cabins in Legacy Mountain turned their lofts into another bedroom. We kept ours as a full game loft with pool table, foosball, air hockey, and an arcade cabinet loaded with 700 classic games. You’ll also have a private theater room for movie nights, two king bedrooms, two bathrooms, and living-room sofa beds for flexible sleeping space.

The cabin sleeps up to 8 guests and is ideal for families, couples, and small groups who want privacy without being far from the action. Legacy Mountain Ziplines are walkable from the cabin, and guests also have access to the resort’s seasonal pool and fitness center.

The location is a major advantage: paved roads all the way in, no scary mountain driving, and easy access to the area’s top attractions. You’re about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, and about 20 minutes from Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Professionally maintained and guest-ready, the cabin includes fresh exterior updates, refreshed deck furniture, upgraded safety features, high-speed WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, electric fireplace, Jacuzzi soaking tub, and a new Keurig coffee station for easy mountain mornings.

Guests also receive access to optional discounted tickets for many popular Smoky Mountain attractions, shows, and experiences after booking, so you can save on the activities that fit your trip.
