Welcome to Cottage on the Cove! Enjoy this brand new 2024 renovated cottage right on the tidal Penobscot River. From the moment you pull up to the cottage, you`re greeted by panoramic views of the Penobscot River that stretch as far as the eye can see. This is waterfront living at its finest. Wake up to gorgeous views every morning. The cottage has a brand new deck with a propane fireplace and a BBQ grill. The back yard also has a large fire pit to roast smores or to just sit by the fire and share stories and make memories. Enjoy dinner or a drink on the deck while you soak in the beauty of the river and the surrounding nature.

The cottage is decorated with tasteful coastal flair. The cottage has the perfect blend of comfort and style. The cottage is private and set back from the road so you will be able to enjoy your stay in a very tranquil setting.

The cottage has large windows throughout allowing you to enjoy the picturesque river views from many different parts of the home. Star gaze, watch the wildlife go by, or watch the boats as they sail down the river.

Imagine having the perfect haven to embark on day trips from, surrounded by endless possibilities. Whether you’re drawn to Puffin cruises, whale watching, lighthouse explorations, shopping, hiking, visits to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Camden, Belfast or Stonington, this cottage serves as the ideal home base. Cottage on the Cove underwent a complete renovation in 2024 and is brand new. It has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a 3/4 bath as well as the washer/dryer. Upstairs is an open concept living room/kitchen & a half bath. There is a queen pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Off the dining room is the deck overlooking the Penobscot River. This house has brand new mini-splits throughout for both heating & cooling. One well-behaved dog welcome.

Guests will have access to the entire cottage as well as the deck, the BBQ grill, and the yard. Enjoy the large firepit in the middle of the yard. We provide with you a bundle of firewood to get you started.

It is contactless check-in. You will be given a unique door code prior to check-in that will be good for the use of your stay.

This cottage is located at the end of a long driveway, a considerable distance from the street and offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere for you to unwind.

There are two private parking spots located right in front of the cottage.

The Penobscot River is notable for its strong tidal currents, which are swift and hazardous therefore direct river access is not allowed from our property due to insurance restrictions. Visitors can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, swimming and boating nearby.

There is a neighboring cottage. If you are interested in renting both cottages (can accommodate up to 12 guests) please reach out for more information.

No Smoking or Vaping please (a deep cleaning fee will be charged if there is any evidence of smoking)

No parties or events. Registered guests only please.

One well-behaved dog welcome. Please make sure to clean up after your dog.

Please use the black towels to remove make-up (make-up will stain the white towels).

Please make sure to take trash to the enclosed trash bin by the parking area

Direct river access is not allowed from our property due to insurance restrictions.

Please let us know if you damage something or something isn’t working the way it should so we can fix it for the next guest.
