Buchan Cottage on Main se encuentra en el municipio, sobre la carretera, desde la cafetería, la tienda y el pub, al lado de la casa de la carretera ya 200 metros de la entrada a las cuevas de Buchan. Nuestra cabaña sería un gran lugar para una gran familia o grupo que quiera quedarse en el centro de la ciudad. Cuenta con una cocina completa, sala de estar con TV, reproductor de DVD, libros y juegos, una barbacoa en la cubierta trasera y mucho espacio para relajarse. Ven y disfruta Buchan .....

The bedding hadn't been changed in a while, found hairs on pillows & on sheets. Lucky we took our own pillows & blankets. The DVD player didn't work and I needed to google how to operate the set top box for the tv. Needs better cooling even with the fans & aircon it was still hot in the property The area was beautiful, the caves was the reason for going there. Not much choice with food, the pubs lack of choice was disappointing. The general store wasn't the greatest either to shop at to cook a decent meal. shopping in a major town before heading is highly recommended.

Comfort and great location

This property was clean, comfortable and right near shops and Hotel. Secure clean yard for our little dog with a verandah for her to look out from. Everything we required was supplied and it was even nicer than the Web photos. Value for money.

Cottage on Main - Buchan

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very family oriented with a range of games, toys, books and dvds for all ages, many quite retro (loved the nerf balls!) Located in the centre of the town with a cafe next door, and directly across the road is the general store, pub and another cafe. Easy flat bike ride to the caves and a small playground 400m away. Kitchen well provisioned. Super soft sheets thankyou! Plenty of drawers and cupboards to store clothing. Split system in lounge room which we needed on the hot days. Would be nice to have more flywire sceens on more windows to allow natural airflow through the house. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Communications with host were great. Very understanding and accommodating. Thanks for a great stay.

Well located

The cottage was lovely. Easy to get in when we got there with the key in a safe at the front door. The location of the cottage was amazing - a very short stroll to the bridge, a playground and right across the road from the cafe/general store/pub. Kitchen had all we needed to prepare meals and a few nice touches like teabags. It was nice to have some books and games for the children at the cottage too.

Perfect!

Such a charming cottage in a beautiful location, could not have asked for more. The cottage itself was spotless, beds very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and will return if in the area again. Buchan itself is a beautiful hamlet in East Gippsland with so much to see and do in the area. An added bonus was being able to take our furry friend. The cottage is very well fenced with plenty of grass to play on. Perfectly situated in the centre of town with the morning sun to enjoy at the front and the setting sun on the back verandah.

We just love living here and have been in Buchan for the past 20 years. Darryl is retired and l work at the local Neighbourhood House.
We wanted to take the opportunity to be able to offer family style accommodation in the beautiful hamlet township of Buchan to share this treasure with others.
We live about 10 km away at Buchan South on a 40 acre farmlet and enjoy 4 wheel driving, fishing and gardening.

We never have to drive far from here to enjoy the mountains, rivers and alpine resorts, wilderness and of course the beautiful beaches. We think that East Gippsland and got the lot.
