What sets our place apart is the rare combination of peace, privacy, space, and true dog-friendliness in a quiet waterfront setting. This is not a party spot or busy vacation area. The property is located in a calm neighborhood made up mostly of older, year-round residents who value quiet and respect for their surroundings, making it ideal for guests looking to slow down and unplug.
The property sits on a large double lot with a large, fully fenced yard that’s both dog- and kid-friendly. We offer plenty of parking, including two large covered carports, giving you room for multiple vehicles, boats, or trailers. There’s also an outdoor play space that our grandbaby enjoys, making this a great option for relaxed family getaways.
We are genuinely dog-friendly. We travel with our four dogs and know how hard it can be to find a place that truly welcomes multiple dogs. We do not restrict by breed or size, and the fenced yard allows dogs to enjoy the outdoors safely. We simply ask that dogs are supervised, well-behaved, and cleaned up after, and that guests are mindful of noise in this quiet neighborhood.
The accommodations are simple, clean, and comfortable, designed for laid-back stays rather than luxury. The home is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath RV with two fold-out sofa beds in the living area, sleeping up to six adults. A unique feature is the separate full-size bathroom located in a building directly adjacent to the RV, with a full shower/tub combo, toilet, and sink, providing extra space and comfort not typically found in RV stays.
While the property feels private and tucked away, it’s conveniently located just ½ mile from a community park, public boat ramp, fishing pier, bait shop, and a local dive bar/restaurant, offering easy access to local favorites without sacrificing peace and quiet.
Overall, this is a place for guests who appreciate space, simplicity, and tranquility — a cozy waterfront escape where dogs are truly welcome and life moves at a slower pace.
