Welcome to Serac Lodge, where sleek modern mountain design meets the warmth of a true alpine retreat. Within walking distance to the ski slopes, this striking home blends soaring windows, vaulted ceilings, and a soft palette of grays and whites accented with natural wood to create a space that is both sophisticated and inviting.
From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by natural light pouring in through the glass, highlighting the beautifully curated artwork and warm textures throughout. The open-concept main level is the heart of the home — a place to gather, celebrate, and unwind. A gas fireplace anchors the great room, where plush seating and a big-screen TV set the stage for evenings of laughter and relaxation.
The gourmet kitchen is equally designed for connection and function, with top-of-the-line appliances, a spacious island that seats seven, and plenty of room for guests to sip coffee in the morning or share a glass of wine while dinner comes together. Then gather around the dining table that comfortably seats ten for memorable meals.
Slide open the glass doors off the kitchen and step onto the deck that provides an unforgettable perch for après-ski gatherings or warm summer evenings. You can warm up under the heaters or by the large fire table with bar seating for five or sink into cushioned chairs and enjoy the spectacular views. There are also an outdoor TV and a gas grill on the deck with easy access to the kitchen.
A few steps down from the main level, a dedicated office nook provides a quiet space with dual monitors for those who work as hard as they play.
At the end of an adventure-filled day, retreat to king bedroom that is located through the office area. This suite is a luxurious sanctuary with a gas fireplace, private deck, and spa-inspired ensuite with soaking tub, steam shower, and double vanity. There is a stacked washer/dryer in this bedroom’s large walk-in closet.
A glass-enclosed elevator whisks you to the upper level, where a quiet sitting area with cozy chairs and a day bed, perfect for reading or napping. Through this area is another king suite with its own balcony and breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. This ensuite bath features a jetted soaking tub, steam shower, and dual vanities.
Continue down to the lower level, where there’s a third king bedroom with a cozy fireplace and an ensuite bathroom that features a steam shower, soaking tub, and dual vanities.
This level also houses two unique bedroom suites. One features two queen sleeping areas that are separated by a curtain and share a bathroom with glass shower and single vanity that also leads out to the hot tub. The second is a bunkroom with two sets of queen-over-queen bunks and one twin-over-twin bunkbed that’s set apart in its own nook. These bunks enjoy an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo and double vanity.
The centerpiece of the lower level is a family room that’s tailor made for fun, complete with a big-screen TV, pool table, and wet bar. And just outside is an oversized hot tub.
For guests’ convenience and comfort, additional amenities include a Sonos sound system, laundry room, mud room, boot dryers, and a 2-bay garage.

ABOUT THE AREA
Situated at the Base of Peak 8, Serac Lodge offers easy access to all Peak 8’s amenities: Colorado and Rocky Mountain Super Chairs, restaurants, ski school, and the BreckConnect Gondola. In the summer months, you can easily access the endless hiking and biking trails.
SKI ACCESS
You’ll access the trail down to the Peak 8 base area with a short walk down the drive and onto a private path to the ski run.
Ski-in/ski-out access is subject to snow conditions and weather. Availability may vary depending on resort operations.
SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.
GUEST SERVICES
Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.
IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
