Hidden away in plain sight at the top of a 3 story staircase is a stunning 3 level appartment with panoramic views over the city.
Situated 100 mt from the iconic Place aux Herbes, this property offers a unique combination of vibrant city life and serene tranquility.
With views of the city centre on one side, and of the Cévennes from the other, this appartment offers you a very special way to enjoy your stay in Uzès.
This 3 level appartment includes a spacious 90 m2 open-plan living area with soaring ceilings with views over the city on one side, and a rooftop terrace on the other with views of the Cévennes mountains.
Although you are in the centre of town, the apartment provides a peaceful retreat high above the bustling streets.
• Communication: Fiber connected Wi-Fi in the whole apartment and terrace. A 65” TV and Sonos music system.
• Air conditioning: In the whole apartment.
The Space:
Spread across 136 sqm, this thoughtfully designed accommodation features three levels:
Entrance Level:
• Two Bedrooms:
o Bedroom 1: A 160 x 200 cm double bed, exposed stone walls, and high ceilings.
o Bedroom 2: A 140 x 200 cm double bed and a spacious wardrobe.
• Office Space: Perfect for working or planning your stay.
• Bathroom: Includes a WC and a walk-in shower.
Second Level:
• Open Living Area: A large, sunlit space that integrates the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Features include:
o Fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing meals.
o Comfortable seating with a TV offering streaming apps via Apple TV and French channels.
o A Sonos sound system for your favorite music.
• Bathroom: Equipped with a bathtub, WC, washing machine, and dryer.
• Private Terrace: An ample furnished outdoor space, perfect for evening drinks or alfresco dining.
Mezzanine Level:
• Office Area: Includes Wi-Fi-enabled printer and a large screen for your convenience. You can print from your phone or laptop.
• Master Bedroom: Features a 180 x 200 cm bed with two electric, adjustable mattresses (90 cm each). Ample storage for a comfortable stay.

After ascending the original stone staircase, you will enter the appartement on the top floor of a historic building that dates back to the 18th century. Situated in the center of France’s last remaining duchy, it features a large outdoor patio, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a very large dining and living room.
All bedrooms are air conditioned for your comfort.
The appartment is situated in the heart of Uzès and a two minute walk from the historic Place aux Herbes, where the local market runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays all-year-round.
The house is ideal for 3 couples/singles or family with children.
An underground car park is nearby - a 3 minute walk.
High chair and cot available upon request.
NOTE: The original spiral staircase adds to the charm of this 18th century house but may not be suitable for those who have mobility constraints.
“Historic Uzès”
The Duchy of Uzès sits at the confluence of many great regions in the South of France, allowing for a perfect get-away, whatever the season. After exploring the many cobblestone streets and galleries of this village you can travel further afield.
Less than an hour away is the historic city of Avignon flanking the mighty Rhône River. So enamored of its beauty, Pope Clement V moved the seat of the Catholic Church there in 1348. In nearby Nîmes, there is the grand Roman arena build in 70 ACE.
For wine lovers, there are the Duché d'Uzès vineyards all around the city and the wonderful vineyards of the nearby Cévennes.
The Roman city of Nîmes is close by as is the iconic Pont du Gard. This magnificent structure, built in the 1st Century, is less than 20 minutes away from the house. Ask us for directions to a great hike there.
