The Space:

Enjoy the peace and quiet you’ve been longing for at this inviting ocean view house! The large and cozy back porch provides plenty of seating and is the perfect spot to kick back, relax and take in the hillside views. The large backyard is perfect for a volleyball or badminton game if guests bring their own net and ball. Gather in the living room area with your group and spend the afternoon eating snacks and playing board games. The fully-equipped kitchen and the dining area with enough seating for everyone are ideal to enjoy a tasty meal together before heading out to explore the large patio and surrounding area. Take a 5 minute walk to private Sunset Beach to revel in the beautiful rock formations. Bring a kite to fly, hunt for shells and sand dollars, build a fort out of driftwood, or just enjoy the stunning scenery of the Northern California Coast.



What’s nearby:

Just a five minute walk will take you to a private access gate and down the steps to Sunset Beach! Glass Beach is only eight and a half miles south and one of the most popular beaches nearby. It gets its name from the smooth colorful glass pieces that you can find there and that are illegal to remove! The Fort Bragg Coastal Trail is a 4.5 mile-long paved trail which offers incredible views of the ocean and is the perfect place to take a relaxing walk and enjoy the breeze. MacKerricher State Park offers plenty of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and horseback riding, with facilities available for overnight camping. You can even book an excursion for coastal whale watching! North Coast Brewery is a renowned award-winning brewery and a local favorite you must visit. Dolphin Manor is located right by 10 mile river for kayak enthusiasts. A few miles north will get you to the Star Winery.

Great location and neighborhood. The place was so clean upon arrival and definitely has a beach feel to it with all the cute decor. Big plus is there is easy access to the beach that is only about a 5 minute walk feom the house!

Great place to stay and enjoy the ocean!

My husband, our two grandsons, and I had a wonderful stay. Our eight year old said "it was like a luxury motel" only better. It was a nice, clean, nicely decorated place and close to the ocean.

Amazing Home by the Beach

This house was the perfect location for our short trip to Fort Bragg. It has it's own private beach access, offers wonderful amenities, and was extremely clean. If you are looking for a great spot for your next trip, I highly recommend Dolphin Manor!

Not like picture outside at all,everything is "brown", yard maintenance is not a thing at this property. Inside very outdated and bathroom grout show signs of molding, bathroom floor is "squishy" . Directions to "short walk beach" unable to find, not well marked. Home is roomy and well stocked. Was a pleaseant stay, location to Noho Harbor was our key for this stay.

Great location and room for all

Dolphin Manor lived up to expectations. We have stayed in this neighborhood before, but needed a bigger place this time and Dolphin Manor was perfect. Lots of room to spread out, the beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water for all 8 of us. The home IS slightly dated, the carpet had stains, but overall it was clean and comfortable for out stay.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The pictures are accurate as it's a bit dated but spacious and has everything we needed. We enjoyed walking in the quiet neighborhood and down to the private beach. We even had sunshine which was the icing on the cake. Didn't mind the 10 minute drive into Fort Bragg business area.

Relaxing Stay

It was very nice and relaxing. Enjoyed as everything described in listing. Easy drive to area attractions. Only negative was the back porch was very dirty. That said, we did mention it to the property manager and they offered to come and clean it. Would definitely stay again.

Just what we needed

Super relaxing. Beautiful, quiet beach front neighborhood. Nice homes, spacious, landscaped yards, sounds of the surf and immediate beach access. 3 bedroom house was huge for just the two of us.

Serene, Clean, and Comfortable

This is a beautiful , well maintained and well appointed property. We loved eating on the deck where we were keeping company with the nesting swallows. Wildlife viewing in the yard’s large meadow included birds , deer, and a fox. The quiet location near Seaside Beach was great for our 3 generation family.

We liked everything about the property. The house was big and clean with lots of amenities. The beach was within walking distance with a private access. The neighborhood was very quiet. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends.

A lot of room!

Place was dated but very clean. There were six of us and a baby and never once did we feel cramped. Kitchen he everything in it we needed to cook at home. Highly recommend. :)

Clean and comfortable.

Relaxed in quiet small neighborhood. Home was comfortable for 6 ( 4 adults 2 kids). Access to a remarkable beach with sand dollars. We experienced a mix up with early access, it was managed timely and professionally. Nice to have a shower in the garage for beach cleanup.

Dolphin House chill down

Very nice house in a very nice location. We enjoyed beach combing, long walks, watching the pelicans and. listening to the surf at night. Has a well equipped kitchen, but had trouble with oven on our last day. It was late so we did not bother to contact property manager.

House is dated but good size for the price.Not good for bike riding from. Stairs to beach are very long. No walk in shower (except in garage).

Bed bugs, stinky, itchie couch, bed. Sheets, towels abd carpet. I came home with bits on my legs and seen a doctor when i came home and got creams to kill scabbies and cream for the bits of the bed bugs. I spent 1800 for 4 nights for pests to feed off me. My sister also had bits from the stay. Never again will i go through virbo, vaccasa, or stay at this bed bug infested house. Very disappointing a d i hope to god i did not bring any home with me. I had to spendso much money upon returning home for the doctor appointment and bug infestation prevention of my home. Vacation from hell.

Neat but dated, poor wifi

The property is neat and surfaces are clean, good kitchen set up. It's very quiet, easy access to the beach and easy to find. The outdated stove top, mildewy washer and poor wifi was a dissappointment. The third bathroom is in the garage, super funky and in cold weather would be a problem to use. Would not stay there again unless the appliances are updated and wifi issue are resolved.

Great location

Our group of two small families really enjoyed our stay at this house. The highlight was the location and private beach. I’m not sure if it’s listed on the online page, but there are a lot of stairs getting down to the beach. It worked great for our group but anyone with mobility issues might need to drive to another beach. The house was as described with a well stocked kitchen. We did have Internet connection issues while we were there. The management was very quick in replying to us about it. There were quite a few dead bugs throughout the house and we let management know to address that with their house cleaners before the next renters stay there.

Disappointed

Unfortunately, due to not one, but TWO deaths in my immediate family, we were unable to visit this property. I contacted customer service for both VRBO and Vacasa because the property was managed by both companies. They were both entirely useless in accommodating any type of resolution. There was no credit offered, no refund of the cleaning fee, etc. Even airlines make exceptions with a death certificate. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of compassion shown by the property managers of this rental. I would understand with such a high end property that there would be a fee to cover daily costs but to keep the entirety of our payment is greedy beyond belief. I will not be recommending this property for future rentals nor would I recommend VRBO for the lack of options for similar situations.

We offer travel insurance on all our stays at the time of booking to cover such tragic losses as yours so that people do not lose their vacation dollars and neither do the owners lose the booking dollars they depend upon.
