The Space:

Charming, dog-friendly, and with an ocean view, this Rockaway Beach vacation rental is a perfect family retreat. With three bedrooms, room for dogs (with an additional fee), and a rainbow of cheerfully colored walls, this home is great for a small family. Cook up some barbecue on the patio's private grill then light up the firepit to make s'mores together as the sun sinks into the sea.



What's nearby:

Beyond dipping your toes into the invigorating Pacific waters, Rockaway Beach is also in a great location to explore more of the Oregon Coast Just a little over one mile away is Lake Lytle, a lovely spot for fishing. Around town are plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and other businesses. You can also take a visit to Oswald West State Park just over 14 miles away. Just 28 miles away is Tillamook with its famous bay and Cape Meares Lighthouse.

Rockaway get away

Rockaway was a great place to explore the Oregon coast. We especially loved the Red Cedar Wetlands boardwalk. We visited the Tillamook Creamery, the Tillamook Air Museum and Mears Cape Lighthouse. We ate local and fell in love with the Sand Dollar breakfast pies at The Beach Bakeshop. We will be back!!!!

Awesome place close to everything

We enjoyed our stay at this cute and private house. Close to town and beach! Bbq and fire pit were an awesome feature and enjoyed by our stay!

Rockaway stay

The house is perfect, outside area so relaxing with all the trees, and the fire pit was amazing. We loved being able to walk to the beach in under 10 mins, even if the street to the house is a little steep, and being right in the heart of town for food and groceries. Lovely little stay, I think we may have to move here!!!

Sweet house on a hill

We really enjoyed the location of this property. It was right on the edge of the forest but close enough to the beach to walk. In the evening we watched bats flying in the backyard and a deer walked right up to the deck. One of the biggest reasons we chose the property is the enclosed backyard which was great for our dog.

Dog Friendly and Close to everything

About a third of a mile to the beach from the property. It is on a hill, so the walk is a bit steep. Dog friendly make this a great choice for a group of people and the place can hold many.

Our stay at this Rockaway Beach house was wonderful! A perfect fit for our family of two adults and 3 teenagers. Loved the relaxing forest setting, beautiful big windows and attractively decorated home. We’ll be back!

Great location and easy to get to, with a pretty decent view. Has all the essentials you need though not much more. Decent book and game library. Was very clean and ready on time.

In the trees

This is a private place surrounded by trees. It so quiet we all slept soundly and slept in. The neighborhood is great for walking and it is an easy walk to the beach. Decorating is fun and place was clean and inviting.

Beautiful location

The house is set in the trees which is very nice. Everything is comfortable and feels homey but not worn down. If you are particular about your bedding I suggest bringing your own, the linens are pretty cheap and feel rough and snagged. Great location, two minute drive to the beach.

Christmas at Rockaway

The cabin was as advertised. We enjoyed the quiet town but it still had several restaurants / bars to choose from for dining out and enough shops to meander through. The trip to Tillamook Creamery was a highlight for our family. The beaches were wonderful for walking. We also drove to Cannon Beach and Seaside and found them to be rather crowded and congested and were doubly glad we had chosen Rockaway Beach!
