The Space:

Explore all of Rockaway Beach, including the town's wide, sandy shores and quaint downtown area along Highway 101, from this dog-friendly home with room for up to six guests.



This home resides in a quiet neighborhood on the northeast side of town and is only a half-mile walk from beach and souvenir shops, eclectic eateries, and attractions like the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad.



Step inside to feel stress melt away in the home's comfortable interior, which features plush furnishings, modern conveniences, and thoughtful decor that conveys a sense of peace. Enjoy updates like WiFi, cable- and DVD-equipped television (also includes a DVD library), plus modern kitchen appliances for quick and easy meal prep.



Whip up homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the full kitchen with all the cooking necessities. Share group meals at the nearby four-seat table, at the breakfast bar, or dine with coastal views from the outdoor deck. Just down some stairs from the deck, you'll find the outdoor firepit.



Up to six guests will find the perfect end of the day accommodations in two bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, the guest bedroom has a queen bed, and the living area has a sofabed. Your dogs are welcome to come along, though please note the nightly pet fee.



Some fun day trip adventures include crabbing in Nehalem Bay, taking the steam-powered Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad train to Garibaldi, and visiting the International Police Museum (admission is free!). If you've come during the summer, make sure to check out Lake Lytle one mile north for stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, kayaking, and other lake sports.

Cute and cozy home

We loved our stay at this cute home and will defend be back. The home was well stocked and nice and clean and just a really nice place to stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and there was a neighbor deer that greeted us each morning and evening too.

Weekend getaway

Had a nice time in Rockaway. Tried to reach out to management about an issue and never got a response. Otherwise, good stay. Loved the VHS collection.

Perfect retreat

Loved this cozy house. It was just off the beaten path and in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to hop on 101 easily or check out the beach and town of Rockaway. Awesome stay.

Quaint trip to rockaway

Cute house, nice location. The only struggle we had was navigating the tv set up. Too many remotes none worked clearly even with local assistance

Misleading representation!!!

Home says absolutely no smoking; however when arrived smelled of smoke and bucket full of cigarette butts and butts over the back deck. Overall feeling of dirt and grime. Each space waking into felt worse dirty sheets on the bed, dirty dishes, dirty clothes in dryer, dryer full of lint, vaccine so full of dirt once emptied vacuumed up three more compartments full of dirt from the carpet.

Relaxing Retreat

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here! It was clean and very cozy. It's in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, great location. It's near one of the best coffee spots in the PNW. If you find yourself in Rockaway and love coffee then you must check out the Sleepy Monk! Just a few minutes walk to the beach or a quick drive. Overall this place was a relaxing retreat for my four day vacation, I highly recommend!

Bad smell

Really bad wet dog smell. Mostly in the living area. Carpet dirty with stains, needs to be cleaned or replaced. If you have allergies, this is not the place to stay. Not as close to the beach as I thought it would be, with the reviews. The washer is nice to have, but it has mold in it. Should be deep cleaned with bleach. Kitchen has everthing needed.

We will definitely be back! The house is very comfortable and well maintained. I appreciate that Amber came by to talk with me about the on-again, off-again wifi connection. We noticed that the heater in the living room doesn't turn on. But the fireplace insert heats up very nicely. Thank you!

Nice home - quiet neighborhood

The house was small but tidy. There were games, dvds and vhs tapes to keep everyone busy. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to make a meal and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The beds were very comfortable. The only cons, from an aesthetic perspective were that the house needs a power wash and new paint and the landscaping definitely needs some love. Other than that, the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend.

Great location in Rockaway

Staying several blocks off the main drag was perfect for us. The neighborhood is very quiet, a nice relief from the 101 traffic. The house is lovely, with all the amenities we needed.

A Few Things need attention

The washing machine is very moldy and clothes come out smelling. The outside garbage can was almost full when we got there. The bathtub drain would not plug up. The sheets did not fit the bed and keep rolling up. Smelled like dog. Remove one of the lock boxes so there is no confusion finding the keys to get inside. Being able to watch TV on the main room TV was an issue.

Excellent Home Away From Home

This home was great for a quick getaway. We wished we could have stayed longer than a weekend. It was clean and cozy and had ample room enough for two, but easily had room for more guests. The neighborhood was so quiet and we saw many deer. The kitchen had everything! We loved it! It's a very cute house with lots of games and movies for those rainy days.

Nice neighborhood

We had a nice Spring Break at this house. The reason I gave it four stars overall, and three for cleaning, was because upon arrival the house was mostly clean with some areas that could have been wiped down and dirt in the corners, with hair in the bath tub. Also, my biggest issue with the arrival was the fact that most the towels were still at least 50% wet and either hung or folded for us to use. I had to dry a whole load before we could bathe. (All of this has been communicated via a phone call to the management company which was apologetic). I also think the quality of linens lacks and they seem like very old towels, sheets, etc that I would only use camping or in my garage, so if we stay again we will definitely bring our own. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and appliances. Both beds are comfortable and the living room is cozy. Two repairs were needed, that I trust were taken care of as soon as we left: the toilet seal needed replacement as the toilet ran constantly and we had to adjust it every single time we flushed, and, the backdoor lock mechanism was broken. In summary, this could be a four-star house if some new items are purchased for guest comfort and the cleaning crew performs at the level the owner is paying them to do.
