The Space:

All aboard for a great time in Rockaway Beach! Enjoy spectacular views, a private, outdoor hot tub, and great beach access from this two-story home offering plenty of space for two families or a travel group. You're just 25 steps from the beach! Located in the middle downtown Rockaway Beach, you will also be able to watch the train as it goes by! Boasting two well-equipped, full kitchens, two comfortable living spaces with plush furnishings and cable-equipped, flatscreen TVs, and a garage with foosball and Ping-Pong, you're sure to have a terrific time at this family-friendly getaway. For sleeping options, this home includes a main bedroom with a king-size bed on the upper level while the lower-level offers two kid-friendly rooms with twin-over-full bunks and a fourth guest room with a comfortable king. There's plenty of space for everyone, but you'll also be able to have your own space when you want it.



What's nearby:

While the beach is accessible close by, fishermen can head out on the deep waters through one of several charter services available in nearby Nehalem and Garibaldi. Guests are also in the middle of downtown, so driving isn't always necessary. This home is just a short drive from hiking paths and bike trails at Barview, Twin Rocks, and Bayocean county parks. The lighthouse in Cape Meares is about 27 miles south, while charming shops and restaurants are to be found in Cannon Beach just under 30 miles north.

Awesome location and great house

This house was great for a large group and the location was perfect! Right next to the beach as well as right in town, so everything is just a quick walk away. We loved this spot!

Great time

We all had fun we had friends in town that came and hung out during the day. Two kitchens was great for preparing big meals and the kids loved having a hot tub.

Mostly a great location! Few little things, staples in the stairs coming out, some mold on the ceiling, but the garage was great with the games, hot tub great, location AMAZING! Nice to have all kitchen utensils, overall, a very good place to stay!

Overall nice place, the house could use some repairs under the surface, but pretty great location, well supplied kitchens, and nice hot tub. Comfortably fit a sizeable group.

Beach

The house was comfortably large, had a great location, but needed a deep cleaning ( enough Cheetos under the couch pillows to feed a small family and an empty whiskey bottle under the upstairs bed).

Great home. We thought it was right on the beach from pictures, but was actually across the street. Super close though! We are very happy with our stay. My kids loved the ping pong and hot tub. Comfortable beds and nicely kept.

Great location, get the Vacasa app before going to Rockaway

Great location and good property. The check-in process was somewhat annoying since a new app needed to be downloaded to get the key code etc. cell service in Rockaway was terrible, so I ended up needing to go beg a realtor office for Wi-Fi in order to get the Vacasa app and check-in details. The property was as described and worked well for our family. Hot tub was great and gave much privacy. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for our Family

Worked out great for our large group. The only thing was there isn't a large enough table to fit everyone at so some of us had to eat on the couch. Had plenty of towels which I usually have a problem with. Only a block from the beach, the perfect location.

Great house

The house was great! Nice comfortable clean beds. Two kitchens at our disposal. The garage had an odd smell. And our 7 crab rings were stolen right in front of the front door!!!!!! All of them, plus my shoes. Naturally, I did not feel super safe during our stay. I assume because of the theft. But the house itself was wonderful.

High fees are added, 1/3 of our cost.

The property was OK. Cleaners were not incredibly thorough, tops and bottoms, and underneath furniture need to be cleaned, too, right? The kitchen and bathrooms were good. Everything worked, location was great. The house needs work for it to be 5 stars and to cost what it did. (Large water stains on ceiling, cracked floors, stairs that are short, stained baseboards.) The fees were not detailed out on the VRBO site and even on the Vacasa site the typeface is very small. We possibly would have stayed in the house again but not if it is offered through VRBO/Vacasa.

Pros and cons for this stay

Pros- very close to everything, mainly clean and some areas newly appointed. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had enough for making dinner. You were half block from the beach. Had a good garage for ping pong. Washer and dryer worked well. Cons- piece of pizza left above the fridge. Fridge ok but not totally clean. No sponges in the entire house. One of the toilet paper holders broken. Hot tub was disgusting- yellow and foamy. Look from property out at the back eof a condo building right in front and a hotel to the left. Overall we enjoyed our stay but for the price, I was expecting higher quality.

Mini Family Vacation

We were so excited for a little get away, beach, hot tub, and game room! When we got there the hot tub was dirty and the foosball table was broken!!! We called right away and they sent someone within an hour to clean the hot tub! Thank you!! We loved the location so close to the beach and a short walk to town and shops. The cleanliness of the house was a bit disappointing. There was confetti still on the floor from the last people. In the bunk bed rooms there were leftover water bottles and an open bag of chips under the bed!! The upstairs bedroom had a beer bottle cap on the floor next to the bed. You are asked to take off your shoes, which is normal for us, but my daughter got a piece of glass in her foot playing ping pong!! Other than not being very clean the house was comfortable and the kitchens were very well stocked. Overall it was an enjoyable mini vacation and we are looking forward to a next time.

Dissapointed

The dishwasher had super dirty dishes. It smelled so bad when it was opened that it made the entire upstairs reek. There was mouse poop underneath the kitchen sink. The hot tub was so saturated with chemicals that everyone got skin burned. We were so itchy and dry with skin rashes that lasted a couple weeks. We didn't even stay in the tub that long because we felt the side effects so soon. We could smell the chlorine when the lid came off. We tested the water with the test strips it read low. So, we thought it was just because chlorine was used and not bromine. I should have remembered that chemically saturated water will read low when using test strips. Hopefully the maint. has the professional test kit where they mix the drops with the water to get the exact amount. we were dissapointed.
