Advertised as a renovated property is partially accurate. The home is in fact updated, however there are some aspects that are not updated and need attention. The photos are a bit off from the actual property. There is a lower level ‘deck’ with firepit that was not usable for us as it sits on the front lawn with a view of the street. The upper deck firepit is very small and not as pictured on the description. The view of the ocean is lovely and the view of the lake from the back of the house is also very nice. The bbq is very dirty on the outside so we chose not to use it. The hot tub was nice and clean. A person came to service it shorty after we arrived. The towels, body, bath and hand are very stained and we were not comfortable using them. The towels might have been washed right before we arrived because they were damp to the touch and had to be rewashed. There were stains on the bed linens as well. The towels are better for use as rags and cleaning as opposed to use for the body. The beach towels are also pretty stained so we didn’t use them either. There were full loads of laundry in the w/d when we arrived and I had to empty the dryer in order to wash the towels to be used during our stay. The bed linens are still sitting on top of the dryer as they were never put away by the service the house utilizes. Beware of the neighbors to the south. They yelled at us for noise that occurred prior to our arrival. Overall the house was ok for a short visit. Beach access is good.
