Great for Traveling Family or Families

We are two families who travelled over the New Years holiday. We had 3 adults and 4 teens. The place is great. The attention to detail and amenities are great. Grabs and Taxi's to the City were easy both ways and we were able to enjoy a home setting without the hassle and noise of being in town. The breakfasts are included and more than you could ask for from any resort or high end hotel. We also ate in for dinner one night which was absolutely amazing. Jane and the staff were great including setting up rides when needed and recommendations on places to go based on our interests. I would highly recommend Casa Malee.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Awsome place to stay! Host is incredible.

This place is awesome. Cute villa with independent places to stay. It worked perfectly for my family. Mom stayed in one, Daughter with Husband and Baby in another, and my wife and I in the other which has two bedrooms in it. The owner provided us with the most incredible breakfast each morning. We're talking gourmet'! She was the perfect host. Offered to cook other meals if we needed, got us set up with transfers, tours, etc.... and even provided us with stuff to celebrate Loy Krotong while staying in Chiang Mai. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Note: Google maps sometimes places the Villa's near old town, its not, its a few miles out of town which wasn't a problem,.

Misleading Location, But Nice Property

We were a group of 4 who recently stayed at Casa Malee. The house was extremely nice and consists of two one bedroom units and the main 2 bedroom unit. This is a good house for larger groups and can fit 8 comfortably (assuming 2 per bed and no couches). The house was clean and Jane, the owner, was very helpful and cooked us a traditional Thai breakfast. The main reason we booked the house was because of the location, which appears to be just outside of the Old City. However, this is NOT the case. the house is actually a 15-20 minute drive from the Old City and is near the airport. To that end, we had to use Grab every time we wanted to go back home and this was very frustrating because it limited the amount of times we could go home to rest / shower / drop stuff off since it was such an ordeal to get to and from town. Additionally, the house says that it has a washing machine, but apparently it only has one during certain times of the year so we ended up having to pay to do our laundry. When arranging transportation from the airport to the house, I would just go to the taxi stand outside the airport and grab a taxi from there as it is only 150 baht (compared to 500 baht when booked through the house).

Beyond Expectations

My family and I stayed at Jane's place on our visit to Chiang Mai. We could have not asked for better accommodations! Casa Malee is just like the pictures show - it is a grouping of three little houses, two with one bedroom and one with two bedrooms. The patio and outside eating area allows for fun socializing but having these separate quarters gives each person privacy. We were welcomed by Jane with a lovely table setting of refreshing juices and a fragrant flower necklaces. This set the tone of our stay. Jane arranged all of our transportation, including the shuttle from and to the airport. She was also very informative about all the activities available in the area. The food - now, aside from the lovely accommodations, Jane and her staff prepared the most delicious Thai breakfasts! If you are a foodie, please choose the Thai breakfast over anything else. Breakfast included rice, some sort of vegetable and one or two meat dishes along with a soup and fruit. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed every morning. I highly recommend Casa Malee to anyone who is planning a trip to Chiang Mai and I will definitely book it again if ever back to that wonderful area.

Beautiful place

We enjoyed the place. Jane cooked amazing breakfast each day! She was also very helpful with booking things for us to do. The negative is when we booked we thought the location of the villa was between the square and the river. It is actually pretty far south which forces you to take a taxi everywhere. If you want to be out of the city then it is a nice place

Fabulous Place to Stay. Great Host. Highly recommend it.

Please allow me to give you the detail of our stay at this place. First of all, the house is beautiful and having three separate condos by itself was also great. There were five of us but this place could accommodate easily 8 people. Everything was great from the moment we landed at the airport. The driver was waiting for us which was already arranged by the host (Jane) and then we went to Villa and met our host, Jane. Let me tell you she is one of the best host and person I have ever met. She is very kind, detail oriented and great personality. She had made all the arrangments for us to go to different sightseeing for those two days that we stayed there. I cannot say enough about her hospitality. She cooked and served us the best Breakfast and Dinner we have ever had. Presentation and taste were beyond anybody's imagination. All I could say, I wish I knew this place and her before and definitely would have stayed there at least a week or two. Everybody in our group agreed that this was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in a lot of hotels, airbnb and Bed&Breakfast places and I had never felt so welcome like this. I would highly, highly recommend this place and if /when I go back to ChiangMai, I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Jane for all your help and your great hospitality.

WOW! Great experience, AMAZING breakfasts!!!

Our hostess Jane, went above and beyond making our stay an AMAZING experience. You're in good hands at Casa Malee. She helped us arrange our time in Chiang Mai and our transportation. We hosted our friends and family with a fun and entertaining cooking class with live music :) We LOVE Casa Malee.
