Beautiful

The cabin was beautiful. The views of the mountain were incredible. The Indoor Pool was a great addition for the kids as well as the game room. Relatively close to town without being right in the middle of town.

Great cabin

This cabin was great. Great location the drive up is not bad (not to scary lol). Great views and very accommodating for a large group. Only a few complaints the shower heads could be better something with settings or at least detachable almost everyone didn’t like the shower heads. There was not a fold out bed in the front room or in the movie theater but we made things work. The pool was extremely cold I kept forgetting to see if purchasing heat was an option but next time will make sure I check that ahead of time and pay for that. Kids still enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, the theater, the pool table and all the games offered.in the cabin. Location was amazing. Will book again!

Perfect Escape

The cabin is beautiful. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The views are amazing. Access to the cabin was easy. During the late afternoon/early evening the sun is blinding coming in the back windows. Shades or curtains would help.

Disappointed

The location and view were awesome. Loved having the game room, pool, hot tub and movie room. The bedrooms were great. The dryer did not work and a part needed to be ordered so we did not have it the entire week. Because of timers on the water heaters we were unable to get hot showers except for certain times. We were taking cold showers most of the time. The couches need to be replaced and also the kitchen table. We had a leaky toilet but it was repaired when we called. One of the refrigerators was missing shelves which we could have used. It could be a great place if these issues are addressed.

Family Vacation

The cabin is incredibly spacious as described with very good size rooms. The issue is that it needs a refresh across-the-board. The dining room table was chipping, as was the red couch in the Family room. Unfortunately, the air-conditioning in the main part of the house broke during our stay and it took them several days to get a portable unit. Location was good.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at The Blissful Bear Lodge. Clean and spacious. 4 generations and all were happy! The only criticism would be the grandparents needed a ladder to get into the beds on the main level and kitchen wasn’t stocked for cooking with a large family. Very spacious and spectacular view.

Family Getaway for 20

The Blissful Bear Lodge was just as listed. No surprises. Easy check in and check out. Cabin was well furnished and had most anything you needed. It was a short drive into Pigeon Forge. We had 20 family members ranging from 1 to 70 year old. Loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom!! Teenagers were well entertained with the amenities provided! Two things could have made the stay perfect… a cookie sheet and floors needed a deep clean. Socks got yucky within first little bit. But we had lots of traffic as well. We would definitely stay again!!

Mother's Day Vacay

Where do I begin? Our stay at the Blissful Bear Lodge was phenomenal. We were four families with children, celebrating Mother’s Day and a Mom's birthday. Everything about this place was beautiful—the stunning views, the luxurious accommodations, the pool, and the movie theater room. Every aspect exceeded our expectations. Everyone loved the cabin and wished we could have stayed longer, but we had to return to our normal lives. Everything was impeccably clean and in excellent condition. We encountered no issues during our stay. We hope to return in the winter to experience the splendid views once more.

Great Stay

The 4.6 Property was as advertised and the accommodations were great. We found a couple items that needed repair and I called and the repairman came out quickly and resolved everything but 1 item which was washing machine. The venue is spaciuos and up to date.

Spring Break 2024

We just had so much fun at the Blissful Bear Lodge!! Our family of 19 drove in from New York and Illinois to have a family reunion. Everything in the house was clean and organized and management was quick to respond to a few questions we had while there! The house was big enough giving our family the space it needed with 9 adults and 10 children. The kids love love loved the pool! At first we were slightly disappointed as there were no pool toys as shown in the photos on VRBO. But that didn't stop the kids from swimming and having a blast. Bring some pool toys just in case! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. We had a 1 year old and we were able to contain him without using any baby gates. The location was perfect, a short drive to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, and Smokey Mountain National Park. However, during spring break there was a ton traffic and everywhere was crowded. If you go durning spring break just keep in mind that there will be crowds and traffic! We did not have any bear sightings and am I crazy to say I am kind of sad we didn't get to see any!! So many wonderful memories were made during our week at Blissful Bear and we will definitely be back!

Perfect vacation

Beautiful cabin with amazing views! Cabin was clean and well kept, furniture was comfortable and we had an abundance of space (we went with just bur family of 4). The pool was a huge hit with my girls (age 5 and 13) and we appreciated that it was a in a locked separate section off the game room. Also the pool was sooo warm! So many reviews (not of this cabin but other pool cabins) have people complaining about the temperature of the indoor pool but that was not a problem here. Game room was also a success, we had some heated air hockey tournaments and my husband loved golden tee. A few things worth mentioning- the heater upstairs is VERY loud when it’s running, so loud it woke my 5 year old up the first 2 nights and then we just decided to turn it off at night, which worked out ok, it was cold upstairs but not terrible. We will 100% book this cabin again, it was everything we were looking for, we enjoyed it so much we extended our stay an extra day.

Awesome Vacay

We had an AWESOME & AMAZING VACATION staying at the Blissful Bear Lodge. We didn’t get a chance to see any bears and that’s what everyone wanted after reading previous reviews butttttt we loved it still. The entire family loved the bedrooms and private bathrooms, the family room as well as the kitchen. We prepared meals together and enjoyed tv time. The teens and children enjoyed the heated and wel lite pool as well as the game room. The theater was enjoyed by all ages… the infants watched all the movies they wanted in the theater room during tv time. Recommend and we give 5 stars

Beautiful family getaway

This house was so beautiful and definitely spacious enough for our family of 17. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and everyone loved the game room and theatre room. The open concept of the living room and dining room made hanging out so easy. We also loved the privacy of each room and the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom was a game changer. Thanks for having us!!!

Christmas @the cabin!

My family of 19 had a blast! We had 4 different multi generational families under one roof! 1st time ever!! Plenty of room for everyone! Cabin was just as described. Scenery was breathtaking! We were able to see a family of black bears snd everyone was in awe! Christmas tree weas beautiful! Host was great to work with! Couple of negatives: pool wasn't warm enough, but hot tub made up for it! Not enough pans to cook for all of us, but we were able to make it work. Couches were worn, recommend replacing. Also recommend an additional trash bin for larger groups to put their trash in. Overall, would recommend & stay again!

Great stay!

We stayed at this property with a large group mixed of adults and younger kids. This house was all just as advertised. It was a great fit for our large group as it had plenty of space to fit everyone with all of the bedrooms as well as the larger social areas. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is extremely convenient for everyone in a situation like ours. We very much enjoyed the pool/hot tub and game room options for entertainment. The view from the back decks are very beautiful especially during sunrise/sunset. We even saw a group of 4 bears and then another group of 3 bears on the ground just below the back deck on seperate evenings while there. Only suggestion I have is that if you are traveling with younger children to bring some baby gates for the stairs. Overall, a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend.

Best Cabin!!

We go on a fall trip every year with my extended family. We have been searching for our forever fall trip cabin for the past 6 years and we have finally found one in The Blissful Bear! It was clean, well kept up, and had a breathtaking view. We love this place! I like how all bedrooms were the same size with the same amenities and had the kids bunk rooms. We are excited to go there every year! Thanks for such a great trip! 5 +++++ stars!

Loved the cabin everything I expected

Beautiful views! Saw bear almost every day. The cabin was equipped with just about everything you needed to cook. They left dishwashing soap, little bottle of shampoo and conditioner and little soap and hand soap in each bathroom. Plenty of towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper also. There were plenty of games for the kids/adults to play , plus an indoor pool and spa. Most places to visit were within 1/2 hour. Our whole family loved the place and would definitely come back.

My family was there for 5 nights. Cabin was ready by 4 pm on Sunday afternoon so that was ready on time. The cabin was very clean and everything worked like it was supposed to. The cabin is a beautiful cabin with plenty of room for large families. The view out the back was awesome. Very good cabin to stay in. I would definitely stay there again.

Great cabin for large party

This is an older cabin but it is well kept. This 3 level cabin was clean and serve my large family well. The kids really loved the pool and movie room while the adults took advantage of the sitting out on the 3 decks to enjoy the views. The living room is open and spacious which was a bonus as we cooked while the rest of the fam chilled in the LR. The only issue was we had to called about 2 TVs but someone came out to address the issues. One of our highlights was seeing a bear walk past the cabin. Also, the cabin is close to town.
