Perfect setup for our week-long stay. Loved the full kitchen, cozy living room, and washing facilities. The host was responsive and the property was exactly as described. It's perfect for a family stay. Walking distance to Northwood School, Mirror Lake, and even to town if you want to walk there!

Property was great! Amazing location, you could walk to town and the lake, short 12-15 walk. It was decorated nice and very comfortable. My kids enjoyed the rocking chairs The owners responded immediately if I had any questions and the home contained everything you could have needed for your stay. Great home away from home. We will definitely be staying there again.

Lovely street walking into town and to Mirror Lake beach. Great kitchen made meals easy. We enjoyed the deck and comfortable beds.

Fabulous location

Another wonderful summer trip to ADK! The location was excellent. The condo was clean and had all basic amenities. We would stay here again.

Great Ironman Location

We loved our stay at Raccoon 3 and plan to return. It’s fabulous location for Ironman racers - close to everything, I was even able to come back to the condo before the race started.

Great little getaway

The location of this property was the biggest appeal for us. We like to be near the lake a short walk from Main Street. The house met our needs for a long weekend. The space was perfect for our family. My kids (young adults) didn’t love the twin beds but otherwise no complaints. The host was great and communication was easy. I appreciated a note that we would be able to check in early even though we weren’t able to take advantage. We would definitely stay here again.

Our Best Experience in Lake Placid!

Wonderful property with wonderful hosts! This was our 4th year visiting Lake Placid for figure skating competitions, and will be remembered as our favorite accommodation. We have done everything from the Crown Plaza, to cabins just outside of town, and even the beautiful Boathouse. This was by far our favorite. The privacy, and still close proximity to everything was perfect! Peggy and Fred were amazing hosts and easy to reach, even to just communicate how happy we were with everything. Racoon 3 was well laid out, well equipped, and supper comfortable for our family. This was the first time we actually went to the grocery store and felt comfortable cooking some meals, just like we were at home. Thanks Peggy and Fred, and hope to use Racoon 3 again on our next trip!

Cozy, great location, great host

This home is a short walk to Mirror Lake, Lake Placid and the town of Lake Placid. It is cozy and quiet, but at the same time, there’s plenty of room to spread out, making it very comfortable. We enjoyed meals on the deck overlooking the trees with a partial view of the lake and sleeping with the windows open listening to the rain. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great spot

We loved the location of this condo. It is a short walk to town and beautiful Mirror Lake. The owners take special care to provide everything a renter might nAdirondack Lake Cabin. Beautiful rugs, rustic authentic furniture and very clean throughout. Only slight drawback was the TV s use ROKU and it is a bit hard to learn. The owner, Peggy is very responsive and helpful with everything.

Summer at Mirror Lake

We had a wonderful vacation at Mirror Lake. The rental was within walking distance of a beach, shops and great restaurants. We also visited the Olympic sites and did some hiking. The rental was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Thanks for the opportunity to stay!

Perfect condo - great location

The property turned out to be even better than the description. There are two bedrooms, but it is actually two separate suites. There are separate areas: bedroom (with TV and sitting area), full bath (each with a wonderful shower), alcove with a desk and a full walk-in closet. The kitchen is very well equipped with high-end appliances. The laundry has full washer and dryer. The condo is an easy walk to the village, the lakes, golf course and near a couple of trails.

Excellent location

The property was clean, comfortable and in order. The location of the property is excellent for all your activities. The center of town is an easy walk from the property. Even though the location is close to town it is private and quiet. We will definitely consider this location for our next visit to the Lake Placid area.

Great condo - pictures don't do it justice

Had a great week at Raccoon 3 hosted by Peggy. GREAT condo with professional appliances and everything we needed. Super comfy beds, lots of room and great location. Hosts were great to deal with. We accidentally stained a carpet and the hosts asked for a payment with the promise of a refund if the cost came in lower. Sure enough, they stuck to their word and a significant refund was processed within 3 days. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect location

Raccoon 3 is a great place to stay. It’s close to everything, yet is secluded so you don’t get the noise from the village. The condo is very clean and well stocked. We love staying here.

It is very spacious, a quiet location, a central location.
So we bought it, remodeled it, and now enjoy it every
weekend of the winter, and take our vacations here to
play golf on the many beautiful courses nearby.
