“Birds of the Same Feather Flock Together!”
Thank you for viewing our home for your next stay. We are a group of well-educated (MIT Alum) professionals (former Engineering Director, Rocket Scientist/Engineer, etc.), including several recently graduated working college students, interns, and engineers. We will provide you not only a comfortable bedroom/bedroom with all the necessary amenities but also a SAFE, secure, supportive, and jovial HOME for your stay. We often share, dine, and celebrate "Monthly Birthday" and other special events together. We hope you will become a responsible and life-long member of our extended family and international community in the future.
MADISON BEDROOM:
1) This 1-bedroom MADISON Unit within our HOME is perfect for your escape to North San Jose and the Bay Area. You will find a welcoming space featuring a queen bed fully equipped with a new smart 32” Roku TV with Comcast cable, the latest Comcast high-speed internet, a desk/table with a comfortable managerial chair for work/study, a new mini-refrigerator, and a walk-in closet. This bedroom offers excellent comfort with central and portable heating (for winter), ceiling fan and/or and air conditioning (for summer) to keep you cozy year-round. Available hair dryers and iron add convenience to your stay. Your 2 shared newly custom bathrooms are also equipped with a bidet and shower (with rainfall and/or jet shower heads). Whether you’re relaxing indoors or getting ready for a day's work or going out, this bedroom provides a pleasant and easygoing atmosphere.
2) Your private bedroom is secured with a keypad with combination lock, in addition to the FRONT door keypad. Both the FRONT and MADISON keypads will have the SAME AccessCode, which will be texted to you after your reservation and as a part of the check-in instructions. Thus, NO physical key is needed!
3) Your private bedroom is thoroughly clean with freshly clean linen, sheets, pillow cases, blanket/comforter, etc. for every new reservation and for incoming guest(s) enjoyment.
4) Bathroom towels, wash cloth, shampoo, paper towels, and toilet papers are also provided.
5) If you are driving, please PARK on streets, which are FREE and PLENTIFUL (no permit required). Please park BEHIND the TREE in the front of the house. Please DON'T park on the driveway as they are RESERVED for other long-term tenants/residents, and they are getting in and out of their RESERVED parking space very frequently.
6) Since safety and security are our most important priorities for everyone living in our home, we have about a dozen surveillance cameras, monitoring all PUBLIC/COMMON areas (main entrances, front yard, back yard, driveways, etc.), 24/7. You are most certainly SAFE in our home!
7) If you enjoy smoking or vaping (cannabis, marijuana, weeds, etc.), drinking alcohol (esp. hard-liquor), using any additive substance/drug, having pets (dogs, cats), or finding a 'meetup' place with your boy/girl friend, PLEASE find other appropriate accommodations for your needs! Cigarette smoking is OK and must be away from the premises or outside the house at the designated area.
8) Though the owner loves pets very much, he is medically allergic to them severely, especially cats and dogs. Thus, NO pet is allowed on the premises.
9) The booker AND the guest, who will check-in the premises, MUST be the SAME person and registered with Vrbo. If the booker is NOT the same person as the guest, please ask the host for permission before booking. For YOUR safety and security, the backgrounds of all current tenants/residents have been screened. Thus, all guests are expected to possess similar backgrounds. Please upload a copy of a government-ID/driver license of EACH adult guest to the Vrbo Inbox or text it to the host at (4Zero8) 5Zero6-One33Nine or your LinkedIn profile for approval, soon after you book your reservation.
10) Making a CORRECT reservation is important: 1 guest = 1 person; 2 or more guests = 2 or more people (children & adults) so that we can properly prepare towels, etc., upon your arrival! (Please don't make a 1 guest reservation for a single bedroom for a family of 5! This had happened before!).
11) Hosting is a transitional/temporary to permanent housing activity for us, which allows prospective tenants/residents to try out our home before deciding for long-term living accommodation. We are actively seeking long-term tenants/residents to fill your bedroom. Long-term tenants/residents with signed month-to-month leases normally receive many other benefits, including substantial reduced rent rates. If you are interested in becoming long-term tenants/residents, please let us know. Thus, we will often have appointment(s) to briefly show prospective tenants of your unit between the hours of 11AM (checkout time) and 4PM (check-in time) or arrange with you during your stay. The show of your unit will be very brief — normally take 1-3 minutes. We will keep you informed of these appointments as far in advance as we can.
12) Please take your shoes off when entering the house so that we can keep the house clean. You can walk around inside the house either on slippers, socks, or bare feet.
