This nice and light modern apartment is located just outside the center, near the beautiful dunes and not far from the beach and the station. There is 1 bedroom with 2 comfortable single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped. Washing machine in the kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and a toilet. Suitable for two adults and two small children (or one child under 16 years).

## Neighborhood

The elongated beach of Zandvoort offers many beach clubs where you can eat and drink in the summer. You can relax on a beach bed, enjoy nature, dip your feet in the sand or take a lovely walk. In winter, less Beach clubs are open, but you can still come and enjoy the sometimes wild sea and beautiful nature.
Zandvoort is also called "Amsterdam Beach" because you can get to Amsterdam Central Station in just 30 minutes by train! The hustle and bustle of the city just around the corner and an accommodation where you can relax and enjoy the beach and nature.
The Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen are two National Parks where you can take beautiful walks and cycle tours.
Would you like to experience a sporty day? Then there are plenty of possibilities such as: mountain biking, learning to kite or wave surf, getting your PADI, sailing or horse riding.
Circuit Park Zandvoort is situated at the edge of Zandvoort, surrounded by dunes and beach. You can visit various events there such as the world famous Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, Historic Grand Prix Zandvoort and the ADAC GT Masters.

Very pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay at the Blue Shell. We even extended for 1 night which was no problem. Good and quiet location and a nice appartment. Would recommend and stay again! 😊

Great location. Property could be cleaner.

Great Location. Good space and amenities inside the house. Big advantage having a covered parking garage. The Smiling Host staff was great with communication and responding to messages. I did feel that the property could be cleaner. There were stains on sofa cushions and dining table chairs. The pots and pans in the kitchen were also not very clean. The water kettle had very old hard water stains in it. The toilet paper holder was broken and kept falling on the floor. We also had an issue with the water heater, which when we informed the Smiling Host staff about, was attended to promptly and a solution was provided.

Pros: Tidy and modern Relatively close to beach and towncentre (12 min) Private parking garage Very good wifi Fridge with freezer Cons: Very hot on sunny days, dark curtains increase effect Ventilation difficult due to only small window elements for opening behind fixed curtains Small appartement, best for two persons, not four like us Too few cabinets/shelves to store stuff Only rudimental kitchen equipment, no oven - not convenient for self-catering Only one waste bin - waste separation difficult Extreme noise all nights from the seabirds breeding on the rooftop Curtains do not prevent strong sunlight in the morning Access via steps only Check-in - insufficient briefing: One needs to pick-up the key in an office located in a restricted traffic zone and a lot of roadworks around. To stray through Zandvoort is the first welcome after the long travel. As the flat is located within a huge complex and not visible from the outside one may stray again to find it. Check-out - comfortable: One can just leave the key in the apartement.

Wohnung mit Garage sowie Service über SmilingHost sind zu empfehlen. Die Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung waren gut; WLAN-Verbindung und SmartTV sind top.

Der Aufenthalt im Blue Shell hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Check in und Check out waren unkompliziert und einfach. Es ist ein schönes Apartment super für 2 Personen. Man ist zu Fuss in ca 9 min im Albert Heijn und in ca 15 min am Meer.

Aspectos positivos: Llegada, comunicación, ubicación y precisión del anuncio

Schönes Appartement, aber mit Mängeln!

Das Appartement war schön und entsprach weitestgehend dem Exposé. Unzufrieden waren wir mit der Sauberkeit ( total fettige Dunstabzugshaube, Fettspritzer an den Hängeschränken, unsauberes Geschirr ). Auf dem Gang vor dem Appartement lagen überall Zigarettenkippen. Mehr noch haben uns aber etliche Mängel gestoert. Das Becken im Bad lief sehr schlecht ab, die Heizung im Bad funktionierte nicht, die Jalousie im Schlafzimmer war defekt, eine der Lampen am Bett ebenfalls, die Lattenroste in den Betten waren verschoben. Diese Dinge wären sicherlich leicht zu beheben gewesen. Wir hatten insgesamt den Eindruck, dass sich von Seiten des Eigentümers nicht genug um die Wohnung gekümmert wird…..Schade!
