This charming 850 sq ft seasonal cottage blends rustic character with modern conveniences. Enjoy a morning coffee in the screened in gazebo overlooking the water and spend your evenings around the fire pit steaming clams and cooking lobster. Relax by the water and enjoy watching local lobstermen hauling their traps or the sailboat regattas making their way around Long Island.

Although our stay was only 3 nights, we had a fantastic time at the private waterfront cottage, Raven’s Nest. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the outdoor spaces and eating areas. It was so relaxing sitting outside-the water views are exceptional and it is so peaceful and calm there. The deck is a fabulous place to view the sunrise or to star gaze!Gary, our gracious host was accessible and knowledgeable. While new to the area he pointed us to great eating establishments, as well as the nearby organic market, unique shops, sightseeing, and hiking trails. It was nice to come back after a day of hiking and just relax on the deck. We highly recommend Raven’s Nest and hope to return someday. We reflected, renewed and recharged by the sparkling water.

Amazing sunrises. Even though there was a nearby cabin, it was always peaceful. Most facilities were very good. The owner was helpful whenever needed. Perfect location near a lovely town.

The cottage and its location were both perfect for our stay. The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable and with views from inside and on the deck or lawn that we loved. Carol and Leslie were very easy to communicate with and were very helpful when we arrived. We recommend the cottage to all!

Gorgeous location and friendly hosts

This is a very well appointed property in a gorgeous location, with direct ocean access. In addition to eating dinner on the deck, guests can use 2 kayaks to go exploring.

Blue Hill cottage

Location and setting (and weather!) were perfect. Had a lot of fun paddling around on the kayaks and watching the seals, loons, cormorants, jumping fish and the occasional porpoise.

We were very happy with all aspects of our visit to this lovely cottage. It’s located right on Blue Hill Bay; there was plenty of room for the two of us; it was quiet and peaceful and the hosts Carol and Leslie were great. They responded immediately to any question or issue that we had. We’ve been renting properties in the Blue Hill area for over 30 years, and this was definitely one of the best.

Ravens Nest- great vacation

We especially enjoyed the outdoor accommodations. Beautiful sunrises were enjoyed from the deck as well as from the water’s edge. We loved watching the boats, the tides rise, the abundance of nature and honesty even enjoyed watching a thunder storm roll in from the gazebo. Its a great location for all the areas we wanted to visit and Maine seafood never disappoints.

Very comfortable cottage on the bay

Property was comfortable and provided anything you might need during your stay. The owner’s were welcoming. We enjoyed the wonderful views of the bay and spent much of our time on the deck watching the wildlife. It was exactly what we needed to relax and explore the area, including Acadia National Park.
