When looking for a place not knowing downtown Raleigh I was more concerned with safety. This seems like a very safe neighborhood. My first impression pulling up is somebody needs to do some work on the outside. The outside of the physical house is cute. But yard had big limbs laying around, trash cans were completely full, there's a broken table at the back of the house where you enter. The table is completely useless and probably would be a little unsafe if children were to play around. In order to get into the house you used a code to unlock the back door, but you couldn't lock the door because the code wouldn't lock it. So you had to go to the front door to get the key out of the box. So when you left you had to lock the back door from the inside go to the front door and lock the front door with the key. Which was no big deal just an inconvenience. The house was nicely decorated very cute on the inside the outside would be great if somebody put a little work into the outside. There were plenty of supplies that we needed for the inside, could possibly use like a few mixing bowls/ popcorn. Mattresses were cheap (not meaning that they needed to be high-end) and very uncomfortable not much cushion, but we survived. The couch was decorative but very uncomfortable you can feel the springs in the couch and not very inviting to sit and watch a movie and relax. The house was very clean! The gentleman was great in responding very fast. Very convenient to downtown.
