The Neighborhood:

Bocagrande is Cartagena’s modern beachfront district: a peninsula of high-rises, long sandy beaches and a “mini-Miami” skyline along the Caribbean. It is ideal if you want resort-style comfort, easy access to the beach and quick connections to the historic Walled City, usually about a 10–15 minute drive away.

The building sits on Carrera 3, in one of the most convenient corners of Bocagrande. Right around the lobby you will find everyday essentials and several very good casual restaurants, plus supermarkets with extended hours, pharmacies and services, so you can comfortably do most things on foot. The beaches of Bocagrande and Castillogrande and the bayside promenades are just a few blocks away, and the Castillogrande piers are roughly an 8-minute walk if you are meeting a private boat for a day on the water.
