When my group arrived, they could not get in with the code, so they messaged the number. The manager of the property responded saying that they had no awareness of our reservation bc vrbo does not notify them and they “no longer list on vrbo”. (The property is still currently on vrbo and their Insta says so too) they sent a cleaner, bc it was not turned over from the last guest. Cleaners did what they could but it was 9:30pm so we needed to sleep. Meaning we got a half clean apt and couldn’t relax right away. The WORST part, is when I messaged the manager to ask what happened, they ghosted me. Didn’t hear from them at all. I gave them almost 48hrs, and then called vrbo to let customer support know. This upset because what if something else went wrong? I had no contact. I don’t really believe their “unaware” story bc I booked and PAID this place in March. Does Vrbo really hold money for 2 months? And if it was true, I expected a better explanation / apology. It also made me worry, bc if it was true, would another booking show up? Yet again unacceptable, bc I couldn’t ask them anything. The stars are for the unit and the location. we had to take the last apartments trash out and there were also def a few amenities missing. Including a few tv services, which since they didn’t respond to me I didn’t even bother. This situation could’ve been made better if they’d communicated. Be warned. Vrbo gave me our cleaning fee back via onekey so that’s a plus.
