Fantastic studio in Cascade, CO

This property could not have been any better for what my husband and I wanted. Close to so many beautiful places in the Colorado Springs area, but still remote enough for a true get away! Our hostess, Kayle was so helpful - from check-in to knowledge about the area! She definitely went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. I can’t wait to go back!

Location

The property is a little old and outdated but the location is amazing. You have everything you really need there and Kayle the host was more than welcoming and accommodating.

Most accommodating host ever!!

Our stay with Kayle was just perfect. Not only was she beyond kind, considerate, and welcoming, but the property was also a million times more beautiful than the pictures. Additionally, the location was very convenient for getting around the area. Lots of great memories were made during our visit :)

Anniversary stay

Wow, what an “Amazing”, “Breathtaking”, “Getaway”, and plenty of Solitude if you want at the Wellington place! Kayle was an awesome hostess, willing to share the history of her family and her beautiful land. We stayed for a week and our first morning we went for a walk just outside the home and we saw Mama Bear and her three cubs, staring at us. Yes, I did say 3 baby cubs! (Ask Kayle the history behind Mama and her cubs) Both of our hearts started pounding as we watched her stare us down and then proceeded onward. This experience was priceless! Not two days later we walked up to the waterfalls and saw Mama Bear and her 3 cubs up in a tree. We started off the vacation to celebrate our early anniversary and a concert we wanted to see and ended up with much more. There is so much to see like Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Maintou Springs and you are centrally located to everything, Thank you Kayle for the talks and memories we have of YOU and your family’s history. We love your place and hope to visit again soon and maybe bring some family next time. Sincerely, Todd and Ami

Peaceful & pleasant

Right off of the highway but nestled back away from the noise. The host is very informational and sweet. The property is cozy, welcoming and spacious.

Beautiful place to stay to get away from the city

We stayed 4 days, very beautiful scenery, We loved everything about it, no complaints at all we will be booking again hopefully in the near future. Thank you so much! So many attractions within a 10 mile radius. You don’t need to go far at all to make your vacation/get away a memorable experience. Awesome place!

Supper fun place to stay

Kayle was a supper sweet host. Had lemonade and flowers waiting for us in house. Was willing to talk with us as much or as little as we wanted. Made it a lovely stay.

A Retreat in the Mountains

Everything in our stay was relaxing, from the warm welcome upon arrival to the wildlife and scenery outside. Kayle was gracious, even during some difficult times with our dogs (they saw a bear!) and was a wonderful hostess.

lovely place to stay

This property is right at the base of Pike's Peak and close to Manitau Springs. Easy access for cyclists wanting to ride in the area. Walmart close by for shopping, as well as a pizza place. Host recommended breakfast at her favorite place (can't think of the name!) and it was fantastic. Kayle was really great to work with - excellent with communicating.

Authentic Colorado Mountain Experience

We enjoyed a wonderfully quiet and peaceful visit nestled in the mountains with all the amenities one could ask for. Our gracious and most generous host made for an even better visit than we were expecting. Kayle’s property has easy access to Route 24 and is just minutes away from Manitou and Woodland Park. The apartment is very large and comfortable furnished in vintage western decor. It is the size of a small house with everything you will need for your stay. There is even a cabinet stocked with supplies to keep children entertained. Kayle earns an A+ as a host and we highly recommend this property.

Picturesque Home Away From Home

I didn't want to leave! The setting is so beautiful, with towering hills, large boulders, aromatic evergreens, a cascading waterfall that disappears into the earth, wildflowers galore. The rental is expansive, with every comfort imaginable supplied by the gracious host. My children and I felt so at home here. The host supplied it all, bedding, towels, bathroom amenities, appliances, drinks, condiments, coffee,. not to mention hiking and sight seeing information. We hiked up Green Mountain Falls' Catamount Hike, and attended Woodland Parks' farmers market, both of these adventures recommended by the host. It's a short drive to Cripple Creek, an amazingly scenic drive, and Manitou Springs is 5 minutes away. I would highly recommend this getaway!

Peaceful getaway

Although centrally located, with easy access to the major road servicing the Pikes Peak area, this home is quiet and secluded. The owner has provided everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay.

Where Quirky meet the Wild West

Fell in love with the uniqueness of the decorating! Lots of little surprises in every room! Kitchen fully stocked, washer and dryer on site, my Verizon phone worked fine. Kayle was a gracious accommodating host. Would recommend!

Like a dream come true!

From the moment I booked this rental, I had a feeling it was going to be great, and it surpassed any expectations I had. Kayle was so friendly and welcoming. She made us feel right at home and gave us so much information about the area. The studio apartment was so much bigger than we expected and had just about anything you might need for your stay. The property was amazing and there was so much area to explore. My husband and I would definitely recommend this place, and we can't wait to come back for more adventures! Thank you so much Kayle for allowing us to stay! 😊 We made memories here that will last us our lifetime.

Wonderful week at a beautiful ranch

What an amazing stay. Kayle is wonderful! A truly gracious hostess. The apartment is clean, the beds are comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. The kitchen is AMAZING with how it is stocked with necessary items. The hike to the waterfall easy and a wonderful way to spend time in nature. We saw so much wildlife. Deer, bears, birds and of course, chipmunks. We hope to return at some point in the future!

Cozy, comfortable and conveniently located.

Our stay at this property couldn’t have been better. Kayle welcomed us as if we were family. We enjoyed the wildlife such as deer, hawks and birds. The walk to the waterfall was a plus too. Also, our dogs enjoyed their stay. The little fenced area made it convenient for quick potty time. A nice country get away for sure!

Great place to stay!

We loved staying at the apartment! Did not want to leave! You can't beat the privacy, peacefulness and the views from there. The history of the farm and the historical charm of the house and apartment is also wonderful as well as the beautiful decor. We took our dog with us and he loved being able to run off leash and explore. Kayle is a great hostess! We loved getting to know her and wished we had been able to spend more time her. We definitely plan on coming back and will recommend it to our friends. THIS is the BEST place to stay in the Manitou Springs area!

Hidden gem off of 24, comforts of home near everything, but still away from it all

The property is inviting and eclectic, everything you need for a nice extended stay. Charming rustic getaway tucked away in a valley. The grounds are beautiful and the walk to the waterfall is plesant. Wonderful wildlife all around, and the host is an absolute joy. We had a great time.
