Nice scenery bad cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was lovely when we arrived. Our last 3 days were marred with issues with the hvac. The house temp inside routinely got to about 83 degrees. Each time maintenance would come drain water from the air handler pan and reset the system. As soon as the pan filled up with water again it went out again. They didn’t even bother to come the last day. They offered no credit or anything. Avoid this house and this company.

Family Reunion

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To whom it may concern, I booked the Sunset Chalet cabin for June 25 – 29, 2025. We were there with no WIFI/Internet the entire time, limited toilet paper and soap. One of the bedrooms upstairs had constant air blowing in the face right above the headboard. No lights on the deck on the grill side. Also, at one point we did not have power. With the cost of the cabin you would think that we would have had more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and we should have had internet services. When we called about it we were told that they were working on getting in touch with the internet provider. We never heard back or had the service.I feel that it’s only fair that we should be compensated for the inconvenience.Sincerely,Milton Henry

I loved the downstairs game space and the large living room. Everything was very clean. We did encounter a really big bear in the yard. However, they give us instructions on what to do. We followed the directions and had no problem.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is a nice cabin to stay in with friends or family. plenty of space for everyone and lots of things to do at the cabin. The kitchen was lacking, measuring cups, a coffee filter, small pots and big frying pans. Also the lighting in the cabin is poor. The downside to this cabin is it's close to other cabins and most of the time you can hear everyone else that is staying in the other cabins.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay. The cabin was spacious and had enough amenities to keep our kids happy. It was also close to all the attractions in Gatlinburg.We did experience a couple of issues in which maintenance and cleaning had to come out and help. Customer support responded quickly and they were resolved. However, for one issue they forgot to turn the water back on so I did it myself. A couple minor things we noticed was that the coffee maker made terrible coffee, which was unfortunate to find after buying some to brew. I think it just needed a deep clean. And our laptop wouldn't connect to the wifi in the theatre room, so we had to use our hotspot.Even with that said, I would stay again but would like to try another cabin.

Peace on a mountain top

Reviewer Comments: My family and I decided to get away for the weekend to try to rest and recharge after a couple of weeks of bad news and some unexected health problems. We had stayed at Elk Springs Resort before so we booked with them again. This time we wanted to stay in all weekend, watch movies, enjoy some college football and relax. The Sunset Chalet was perfect for us! It had a hot tub, sauna, a well equiped game room, and a theater room. The yard was awesome and the views were good. We spent the entire weekend playing games, watching movies, and the best part just talking and being together. The rental was spotless, we had plenty of towels, a nice grill and tons of rocking chairs. I highly recommend Elk Springs Resort for a weekend get away or a week long stay.

We used the slightly used scenic backroads to travel to Piegon Forge and Gatlinburg. Superior communication between the contact person and us. If we had a question or issue their response time was almost immediately. This cabin also had a nice jacuzzi, sauna room, theater room, and a game room. Great cabin and reasonably priced.

From the time I booked it, there constant communication from the resort with all the information you would need. A great location and only 10 minutes to everything you would possibly need including some great fun places for the kids. The Aquarium was amazing and we had a great meal at the Alamo Steak House. Can't wait to come back again.

Second time we've rented at Elk Springs and the service is very good, with quick response to maintenance. Nice to not feel like you're in Gatlinburg but be minutes away.Cabin was in generally good condition. Only suggestions would be to better stock the kitchen especially for a large group where we plan to cook quite a bit and add window screens.

Had plenty of room for everyone and the unit provided everything we needed to keep everyone busy with pool, hot tub, golf game, multiple TV's, theatre room, etc. Suggestions: upgrade utensils (forks, spoons, etc.); more towels, more seating in lower level by large TV.

It is now called Sunset Chalet and is just as amazing as about 10 years ago that we stayed there. We have stayed in probably six or seven cabins in Elk Springs Resort and have been happy with all of them. The location is great and the cabins are nice and clean. The customer service has always been friendly and helpful. We would recommend staying at Elk Springs Resort and look forward to coming back. Have a blessed day!

Big well equipped home

Plenty of linen & the HVAC system worked wonderful. We loved the fireplace. There is a view of the mountains that was incredible. The mountain tops had snow on them. Incredible!! The bathrooms were the perfect size and cleaned well. The bedrooms were good sizes and the sauna made it extra special. The cleaning and furniture were very important to me. I didn’t want to work about contamination. There was quite a few ladybugs and dust behind doors & in window seals but we requested a cleaning and they came back to clean. Overall, it’s a great place including location to stay.

Before our son left to the Army we wanted to find a beautiful cabin at Elk Springs and we did just that. Cabin was immaculately clean. The layout was perfect. My husband, my baby and I stayed on the main floor my two sons and their girlfriends had the upstairs two bedrooms which they had their own bathrooms and my youngest daughter stayed on the lowest floor. Everyone loved it we used the hot tub and the theater room, every night that we were there, the fireplace was beautiful in the living room as was the kitchen we cooked dinner every night. We enjoyed making new memories here before our son left to the army. We are so happy we went with this cabin. Thank you Elk Springs Resort for always helping us make the best memories.

The only problems were the master toilet kept whistling at night and the very little cushioning on the downstairs couch.
