***Oberstdorf: Quiet, centrally located vacation apartment with sun terrace

Our non-smoking apartment "Fink" is located about a 7-minute walk from the town center in the Lower Market, on a quiet side street. The apartment is bright, has a beautiful south-facing terrace, and a garage parking space.

Our rental price includes the cable cars in the summer time (May-October) and covers the tourist tax, which is shown as an administrative fee in the offer (€3.80 per night, per person).

It has WIFI, a modern flat-screen TV with satellite connection, a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer are also available in the basement.

The kitchen is modernized and equipped with an induction cooktop and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, coffee and Nespresso machines, toaster, egg cooker, water kettle, and radio.

The bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and underfloor heating was completely renovated in November 2020.

The large south-facing terrace (completely renovated in the summer of 2024) is partially covered and furnished with an awning. A garage parking space (No. 5) belongs to the apartment. Hiking trails and cross-country ski trails are in the immediate vicinity. In summer, the mountain railways are included with this apartment!

This was our second time in this rental and it was just as good as the first. It’s immaculately clean and well-equipped. We especially appreciate the passes that come with it, allowing free use of local buses and funiculars, and the screen in the bedroom window, letting us sleep coolly and unbitten.Renting bikes and riding out into the surrounding valleys is our favorite activity here. The scenery is spectacular!

Beautiful and charming

Just got back. I loved it. It's a nice, warm and charming apartment. Everything was just fine. Sabine and Udo were very kind and timely provided all necessary information. My favorite: beautiful terrace with a lovely back garden. I'd love to come again!

Fabulous rental - near everything and quiet, too

We thoroughly enjoyed this rental. It’s well laid-out and very comfortable. The bed and linens were great. We particularly appreciated the insect screen on the bedroom window - the first we’ve seen in Europe. It’s only a few blocks to the downtown pedestrian area, which is filled with shops and restaurants. The Rewe grocery store is even closer. An e-bike rental to see some of the nearby valleys made a geat day trip. The premium guest card (Allgäu Walser) was a great bonus . It saved us €90 on the Nebelhornbahn and let us travel by bus to a large number of attractions in the area. We hope to be able to return to Oberstdorf and this rental in the future. The only thing we wished for was an explanation of how trash is sorted and where it should be taken. This has been different in every town we’ve visited and the info isn’t very easy to find on the web (for a non-German, at least).

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Wohnung ist perfekt eingerichtet und liegt günstig. Uns hat besonders die gute Ausstattung der Küche gefreut mit ausreichend Töpfen, guten Geräten und scharfen Messern, was ja oft ein Problem ist;-) Alles ist geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es war sogar liebevoll weihnachtlich dekoriert. Auf dem Schlafsofa hat unser Sohn sehr gut geschlafen. Zum Skibus sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß, die Tiefgarage war VW-Bus-tauglich. Zur schnellen und freundlichen Kommunikation kam noch große Hilfsbereitschaft, als wir etwas vergessen hatten. War kommen gern wieder und können die Wohnung wärmstens empfehlen.

Sehr schöne, zentral gelegene, saubere FEWO im EG mit TG-Platz. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, urgemütlich und mit allem was man so benötigt ausgestattet. Buchungsprozedere und Abwicklung absolut einfach. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden diese FEWO jederzeit wieder buchen.

Sehr schön, die Wohnung ist wunderbar. Gemütlich und modern eingerichtet und alles vorhanden, was man zum leben braucht. Mehr als man im Urlaub benötigt. Da wir sehr viel unterwegs waren konnten wir gar nicht alles nutzen. Oberndorf ist ohnehin ein Traum und die Bergbahnen inkl. Gästekarte super. Noch einmal schnell aufs Nebelhorn, obwohl schon Nachmittag ist oder Wolken da sind, kein Problem. Doch haben wir nach Abreise etwas in der Wohnung vergessen. Die Gastgeber haben es uns aber ohne Aufsehens nachgeschickt. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Schöne, hochwertige Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr hochwertig eingerichtet, quasi komplett ausgestattet und in einem top Zustand. Die Lage ist an sich sehr ruhig, abgesehen von einer Wiese mit Geißen auf der anderen Hausseite. Empfindliche Menschen könnten sich nachts bei offenem Fenster gestört fühlen. Die Tiefgarage ist verhältnismäßig geräumig. Es hatte sogar unser Auto samt Radträger Platz. Allerdings ist dies auch die einzige Abstellmöglichkeit für das Auto, da die Straße zu schmal ist, um dort zu parken. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist super. Es erfolgt auf Anfragen stets eine prompte Reaktion. Nicht ganz 100 % zufrieden waren wir mit der Reinigung. Zwar haben wir die Wohnung in sauberem und aufgeräumtem Zustand vorgefunden, jedoch gab es an der Kühlschranktür, im Küchenschrank und an der WC-Brille Stellen, die wir dann doch lieber nachgeputzt haben. Insgesamt gehört die Wohnung zu den besten, die wir in Oberstdorf bisher gemietet hatten und können uns vorstellen, hier zum "Wiederholungstäter" zu werden. :-)
