Nuestra villa de Lighthouse Beach Resort está ubicado a minutos del aeropuerto de Bonaire Flamingo y el mejor buceo y windsurf en el mundo.

Un teléfono celular es proporcionado a usted mantenerse en contacto tanto dentro como fuera de la isla. (Compra tus minutos de la ciudad.)

La nuestra es una casa familiar. Solteros y parejas también pueden disfrutar del ambiente que se encuentran aquí. Las habitaciones están arriba y acondicionado de aire para dormir comodidad. Ambos dormitorios tienen un gran cuarto de baño privado y un amplio espacio en el armario. Las sábanas y las toallas son abundantes.

En la planta baja, justo al lado de su patio, usted encontrará amplias vientos alisios y una piscina para su relajación después de un día de snorkeling, buceo, ciclismo, windsurf o simplemente no hacer nada.

Para completar los servicios de cocina, usted encontrará una cafetera, horno tostador, microondas y licuadora. Una gran sala de almacenamiento de la cocina hace que el almacenamiento de engranajes fácil y conveniente.

La pequeña playa y el arrecife son pasos de su puerta principal. Para los más jóvenes, las pozas proporcionan horas de diversión descubriendo los tesoros escondidos allí. Algunos espectaculares puestas de sol y el "rayo verde" se ven a menudo de su propia playa.

Perfect house !

We are 2 people (father & son) from France. We stayed here for 12 days in February 2019, mostly for diving. We choose this house in order to have a calm environnement, a fully air-conditioned house, practical to manage our dive stuff. We loved it. The house is nicely located : 5 - 10 minutes from the airport. The « city » is also near by (less than 15 minutes). The house is fully equipped, with everything you need (towels, sheets, all stuff for cooking, cooler bac, etc). There are 2 levels in the house. Downstairs, you have : open kitchen, living-room, toilet, and terrace. Upstairs, you have 2 bigs bedrooms with 2 independent bathrooms (with shower and toilet). One bedroom has a view on the sea, with one double-bed. The other (one double-bed and one simple bed) does not have a view on the sea but has a terrace. All windows all have a protection against mosquitos. The swimming-pool is big and nice. During the afternoon, some neighbors are using it also, but it was never any rush or crowd. The owner’s sister lives in the neighborhood (few meters from the house), which is very reassuring. We were happy to stay here and we strongly recommend it.

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation DO NOT rent here!

When we arrived at the villa the stove top, oven and water were not working! Through emails we were instructed "HOW TO" turn everything on ourselves. We had to bring all the patio furniture out of the storage area as well. Sorry, but we were on vacation and shouldn't be asked to do this. Although there was a "property manager" to contact with problems, the problems reported were never fixed while we were there (i.e. broken a/c and oven, a refrigerator that made a constant loud noise, and a huge ant problem). There were barking dogs (belonged to an owner there) and construction taking place; constant beeping of construction vehicles. The pool was not cared for and Iguana poop remained at the pool our entire stay. It was a very disappointing experience. Bonaire is beautiful but this place is not!!!! I do not recommend it. Spend your money some place else it will be worth it.

One of the best spot on the island!

Our family visited Bonaire for Christmas this year. This is our 5th trip on the island and our second stay in this apartment. We rented this amazing place 3 years ago and we loved it. As our kids are getting older (11, 13 and 15 years old), we wanted to find a place spacious, affordable and that would guarantee the most amazing trip ever. This apartment is situated on the the best spot on the island, just 5 min south of the airport. - It has an unobstructed and clear direct view on the sunset (50 meters walk from the pool), perfect to see green flashes if your are lucky - Coral reef in this region is outstanding. Our best diving/freediving spots on the island is just 1km away (Angel City and the shipwreck) - About 10 minutes drive to the kiting or windsurfing spots - Private pool area - most amazing jogging road ever, between the pink salt lakes and the blue shoreline (did it everyday with my son) - Amazing neighbourhood - close to the grocery stores As for the apartment, it was just perfect. Buddy and Judy are amazing owners. They made everything so easy for us. They also did a lot of significant improvements from our previous trip, like adding a washing machine (less clothing to bring!), and new top notch fridge and oven. When we had a question, they replied very fast. We are scuba divers, freedivers and kiters. We will go back to Bonaire, and we rent again from Buddy&Judy anytime! This is THE place you want to go!

A Beauty in Bonaire

On the south side of the airport on the edge of town but definitely close to everything from groceries to any activities. Well established complex with friendly tenants that make it feel homey and secure. The apartment is spacious and stocked with all you need for cooking. We didn't use them but there are TV's in the living room and bedrooms. Courtyard is beautiful with a lovely swimming pool. A short walk to the ocean from the complex. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this home away :-)

Great place to stay!

We rented this condo for nine nights. Our daughter and granddaughters stayed a week. It was perfect, right next to the pool and close to the beach with ocean views from the upstairs balconies. Buddy and Judy made everything seamless. The condo was very clean and everything worked well, the kitchen was well equipped. There were lots of clean towels provided. Also the owner has a local contact if you would need anything. Great place!

A GOOD PLACE FOR R AND R

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to escape, this is it. My experience was that the condo was most fitting for "the island attitude". My visit was in December and the winter we are having in the states this year, an "island attitude" was really welcomed. A breezy 80 degrees for the most part by day. The condo was very clean, neat, and comfortable. Also, all the necessities were there and in place (kitchen, linens, etc). The large swimming pool was almost like having your own private one there. I observed that there was a mix of permanent residents (including doctors) as well as having rental property available. I judge that as being a positive. Now as for Bonaire itself, it does provide a variety of activities along with its beauty. My variety along with relaxing, was snorkeling, bicycling, and dining at a different neat restaurant each evening. The water was beautiful everywhere, but my favorite place to observe it was at Lac Bay where all the windsurfers were doing their thing. Now in conclusion, I would recommend this unit and Bonaire for those who want to do nothing but relax as well as for the activity junkies. It offers something for everyone.

I was quite amazed at the review given on this property prior to my arrival. I am a return guest & having stayed here on numerous occasions wondered what was going on. We arrived to a spotlessly clean villa. Fresh linens, towels, etc. Found everything in working order, stove, etc The couple of days we just hung around the place doing as little as possible, there was minimal noise from the construction. The other days we were off exploring, so if there was construction noise, we didn't hear it. lol We called the "guard dogs" Mutt & Jeff. They would come in & visit & we kept a bowl of water out front for them. From previous stays @ LBR27, the dogs only bark when there are strangers on the property (mostly at night) or should a stray donkey visit. The property manager is awesome. When I accidentally locked us out, she stopped what she was doing & was there in minutes to get us back in. I have spoken to the iguana, who I named Orpheus, Oppie for short, about finding another place to poop & the pool area has been clean since. I have traveled the Caribbean for years & love all of the places I have stayed on various islands. LBR 27 is more like a home than a rental property. I feel certain for anyone new to Bonaire, or even for those who have been coming here for years, not only is this property a great value, but it's a great "home" away from home.

My week in Bonaire was wonderful! The listing description and photos are accurate, and the property was clean and well-maintained. This villa is so welcoming and comfortable. It's beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing get-a-way. I loved that it had maps and books about the island and it's many treasures. The island is so beautiful and peaceful - a tropical paradise. I am not a diver, but love to snorkel. Being able to just walk in to the water and snorkel was amazing. There were so many beautiful fish and it seemed like they were just swimming up to visit with me. We made a swim in the nice pool and watching the sunset poolside (of course with an adult beverage) a daily ritual. Then, off to town most evenings for a fabulous meal at one of the many restaurants. We even made a day trip to the Washington Slaghaal National Park. What an adventure! Rough, dirt roads, leading to unbelievable beauty! So worth it! This villa is wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Bonaire. Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your piece of paradise!

Great Bonaire diving vacation property

This is a great rental and is perfect for a family or 2 couples who dive or just want to relax. We stayed 5 weeks and had 2 other couples visit us at separate times. We dove with a diving couple during the first 3 weeks and then snorkeled with non-diving friends the last 2 weeks. This condo and location accomodated the different interests of both groups. I won't repeat what Dive Daddy said in the first review (which was spot on!) but I will add that the condo has easy access for watching the fabulous Bonaire sunsets (with drinks in hand!). Also, many of the reviewers mentioned that the location was good for southern dive sites, which is true, but if you book with a shop like Dive Friends or Wannadive, they have several locations from north to south where you can exchange tanks so it is not a problem to dive all day up north if you wish. You don't need to return to the south between dives. Finally, you do need to rent a vehicle to stay at this property and if you are a family with teenagers or young children, it would help if the teenagers are divers or snorkelers or can otherwise occupy themselves since this is not a resort despite the title. If your teenagers are looking for a social scene, this property is not for them. Also, you would need to monitor young children since there is no lifeguard at the pool. We saw both teenagers and young children at other units during our stay and they seemed to be having a great time.

Bonaire Villa

My son and I just spent a delightful week diving off Bonaire in the southern Caribbean. We had been there before and generally knew the better dive sites and locations we would prefer staying in. Buddy Voelkel's condo was a great fit for us. Prior to our arrival, the owner sent us detailed instructions regarding everything from security to cleaning help. The home was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The upstairs bedrooms, with en suite baths, gave us the privacy we needed. The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to eat breakfast on our time and menu. The central pool area is very private and swept clean daily. Even after multiple dives, the evening dip in the pool felt great. The neighborhood is ultra quiet. No highway noise or wild parties to disturb a good night's sleep. The WiFi service signal seemed to vary somewhat; usually the signal was strong in the morning and weak at night, though we could always get on and keep up with the e-mail/etc. The rooms are air conditioned which was really nice after we got sunburned the first day out. There is an outside hose for cleaning and rinsing the dive gear and we just moved our BCDs and regs into the entry hall for security purposes at night. Recommend highly as good value for the dollar.

Buddy's place is wonderfu...

Buddy's place is wonderful! It meets all your needs and has some nice features too (local cell phone & bikes to use)! Location is perfect for those who prefer diving the southern end. We even took a day, loaded up the bikes, and biked the northern side. It was beautiful! And, let me tell you about the locals - Queso, Junior, & Daisy! They're 3 wonderful dogs that greet you as your pull up. They live just past Buddy's place but love you just the same! Thank you, Buddy, for opening up your home! You can count on us coming back!! ~Tiffany & Scott

Had a wonderful vacation ...

Had a wonderful vacation in Bonaire Christmas 2008 for 2 weeks. Buddy's accommodations were exactally as advertized. They were clean, neat, fully stocked "home" and very comfortable. The location is excellent for diving in the south, we enjoyed southern diving. We were met by the housekeeper and car rental company at the airport...all arranged by Buddy. Buddy was excellent to deal with. We would rent with Buddy again. Thank you
