Our home is minutes away from the historic streetcars that will take you to the heart of the French Quarter or into the Historic Garden District. At your doorstep are Greek revival and Victorian mansions, museums, and world-class restaurants. Walk down Magazine Street and explore the miles of galleries, antique stores, and boutiques waiting for you there. Or simply walk the other direction a few minutes and tour around the CBD where some of New Orleans' best restaurants await.
All guests after booking will receive a list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience.
Getting Around:
You will be walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to the French Quarter and the convention center, and biking is another fun and convenient option, with scores of rental shops to choose from. Uber and Lyft services are easy and affordable in this compact city. Retail hub Magazine Street is just a short uber ride away, as are some of the city’s other hip neighborhoods, Bywater and the Marigny.

Place is really nice. Good location. Water pressure was bad due to a city water leak so we couldn’t shower for 3 days which was terrible. Host can’t do anything about that but neither can we so I think we should have at least been refunded some. But otherwise it’s a great place

First, i wish there was a 4.5 star option because that is really what it is. I truly feel 4 is a little low. The reaponse time from the host was incredible. Within an hour every time, often times under 15 minutes. The location is phenomenal. No more than a 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street, Central Grocery, Caesar's Casino and the French Market. Can't beat that. The unit itself was very clean. There's a code to get into the building which makes it pretty safe, especially on a third floor. It is a walk-up with stairs inside, so if anyone in your party needs assistance, it may be a bit problematic. It wasn’t an issue for me, and I liked the fact I was not on the ground floor. Also, There were a couple small holes in the floor, but the host said they will address it immediately. If you bring a car, there is no parking on-site and street parking is tricky as many points one cannot park overnight. If you want a parking garage for your vehicle, it's a few-blocks walk. I would definitely stay in this unit or one run by the same host again, just because of the response time alone. It means a lot to me.
