Winter: With 109 kilometers of slopes and 27 lifts and cable cars, Mellau-Damüls is the largest ski resort in the Bregenzerwald. The stop for the free ski bus is just 100 meters from the vacation rental. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Mellau mountain railways. The entrance to the cross-country ski trail is right next door and runs along the edge of the Kanisfluh all the way to Schnepfau. The natural toboggan run is also just a short walk away.

Summer: For mountain bikers, there are countless opportunities to explore the Bregenzerwald. If you’d prefer to take it easy, you can rent an e-bike at the sports shop next door or at the valley station. Especially after an eventful summer day, a dip in the cool water at the Mellau swimming pool or in the Bregenzerach River is very refreshing. Guests staying three nights or longer in the Bregenzerwald from May 1 through October 31 benefit from the “Bregenzerwald Guest Card”: With it, you can ride all public buses and mountain railways in the region for free. It also includes admission to the numerous swimming pools in the region.

Vacation Rental: We’d be delighted to welcome you to our centrally located, newly built vacation rental. The 75-square-meter apartment accommodates up to 4 people. It features a separate bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a separate toilet, a sleeper sofa, a kitchen-living room, and storage space for skis and bicycles. There is also a rooftop terrace with a beautiful mountain view. The apartment is equipped with the following: cable TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, towels, bed linens, sofa bed, dish towels, filter coffee maker (filters included), toaster, electric kettle, various cooking utensils, oven, range hood, 4-burner ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher including tabs. The 75-square-meter apartment is located on the top floor; parking spaces are available right next to the building.
