Welcome to the Thomas family!
In the idyllic Harz mountain village of Trautenstein—high in the Harz Mountains—we offer three accommodations: a small vacation home, a small, rustic log cabin, and a vacation apartment, each accommodating two people. Both vacation homes and the vacation apartment feature a living room, one bedroom with a double bed, a kitchenette or pantry kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower.
The two vacation homes are located in a quiet garden, and the vacation apartment is in your host’s house. Enjoy a cozy barbecue evening with us in our Finnish grillkota or under the open sky. We, the Thomas family, are sociable, open-minded, and always eager to ensure our guests have a pleasant vacation. We’ve created the perfect conditions for this. Haus Sonnenblick Vacation Rental:

We offer a cozy vacation rental on the first floor of Haus Sonnenblick. Located on a side street in this small Harz village, you’ll enjoy peace and relaxation.

The vacation rental is approximately 35 square meters in size, comprising a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower. The vacation rental is ideal for 2 people.
The living room is spacious and bright and features a large built-in kitchen with a ceramic cooktop, stove, and refrigerator with freezer compartment. A large dining table and a couch invite you to relax. Directly off the living room is the bedroom, which features a double bed and a closet. Behind the bedroom is the en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The beds are made, and a linens package (towels, dish towels) is provided free of charge.

The vacation rental includes a seating area in the garden. A large lawn with sun loungers is also available. You can barbecue in the garden or in the romantic Finnish barbecue hut.



Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
