Fabulous, spacious condo in the Sun Valley resort. Very easy to walk to the restaurants and shops (10 mins), with access to the Sun Valley Inn gym and pools. The place itself is a little dated, but we found that charming (plus the kitchen appliances and one of the two bathrooms were new). We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen has a brand, new refrigerator and everything we needed to cook a few meals. We used the balcony space every evening. The location is beautiful and perfect for biking into town. We went to the Olympic pool several times and everyone enjoyed it.I was happy to find this in an affordable price range. I would stay here again.

Great Location in the Sun Valley Resort Area. Loved the grassy area behind the Condo for the kids to play. Condo is a little dated but staying in a 5 star resort at a thrifty price worked well for us.

We love having guest enjoy our Condo. Also besides the open area in front of the Condo, there is a flowing creek, and bicycles to ride. We also pay Sun Valley to allow our guests to use the Swim Pools & Inn work out room.

Perfect location and amenities

This was the perfect location within Sun Valley. It includes amenities to the various pools nearby (the Lodge, Inn and Olympic) as well as a fitness center. To get access make sure you go to the Recreation Office to get passes! Inside, the condo was clean and charming, with two bedrooms (one king bed, one queen) and two bathrooms which was perfect for us as two couples staying. Kitchen had all the things we needed - coffee machine, toaster, blender, dinnerware and flatware. Thanks for a great stay!

Ski guys review

This is clearly a no frills property in need of considerable updating. That said, the place was clean, beds were comfortable, good water pressure, plenty of hot water, TV’s were adequate, and kitchen had all the basic necessities. Everything three old time male skiers would require so I would rate this condo a good value for the price. I would recommend that if your are renting this place for skiing that you have your own vehicle. Access to city buses carrying ski’s, poles, and boots is not an easy trek.

We are here for skiers! Glad they thought it was a good deal For the price! Don’t understand the no frills comment. We are not allowed to leave alcohol or food in the condo For Guests! We just want them to have a good Time & Enjoy Sun Valley!

Great Christmas stay

This is a great place to stay for a small family. The property was clean, Skip is extremely responsive and has wonderful information to enjoy Sun Valley. They unit is in a wonderful location, quiet and well-appointed.

Details need work on this one

Good things: great location easily walkable to sun valley resort area. Beautiful setting and very quiet location. It was easy to get a hold of the owner with questions. Better rate than other similarly located properties. Beds were comfortable. Not so good: very unstocked for necessities. No shampoo, no unopened/unused bar soap or body wash for showers. Hand towels but no wash cloths. There was a Tupperware full of random used and unused trial size conditioners I suppose we could use but I don’t think that works well. No trial size shampoos. These things are basic expectations. There were two bathrooms. One of them the shower did not work the entire duration of our stay. The fixture was also out and so if the shower had worked it was too dark too use. We let the owner know of these things but no one came to repair. The garbage can was one of those that you push a pedal to open and it was also broken and difficult to open my hand due to its location. The kitchen area was nice to have but we decided not to use it after the first time we cooked as everything was so old it didn’t work well. The oven heated unevenly and burned our food on one side. Knives were not sharp. Old pans etc. We just decided to eat out. Also the listing said that you get access to the pool and workout room at the sun valley lodge. This is not true. You do get access to the sun valley inn pool and workout room and the Olympic pool. This was disappointing and embarrassing for us as went made our reservation and showed up with our kids only to be turned away in front of a crowd of people. The lodge is the nicest pool and the access described in the listing was the primary reason I chose this place. Hopefully the listing will be updated to reflect what you actually get. We did end up using the pool we had access to and the kids enjoyed it. It’s really about correctly setting expectations.

We have rented our condo for over 20 years. During that period, we have never had a negative review. We have five renters that continually come each year . Through the years we have made upgrades, two years ago we remodeled our bathrooms, and put in new mattresses. Last year we put in a new tub & shower in each bathroom. The devises on the showers are modern pull out types. We also added a deck with a lounge chair, table & chairs with an umbrella & a barbecue. You can see the open area, hear the creek in front & look at the mountains. You can also see this from all the front room windows.

Clean, spacious,great local

Super-convenient, surprisingly large, everything we needed!

This unit was great for all we needed: super convenient to walk to the Lodge and all its facilities, easy drive to town, and the condo itself is really comfortable.

Great location, comfortable stay

Had a great stay for a figure skating competition. It was a really hot weekend, but even with temps reaching 90 the condo stays very cool. Walking and biking distance from everything we needed, and condo was equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks Skip!

Excellent location and comfortable place

We love staying here when we come to Sun Valley. It is hard to write a review as I always want the place available for us. Although the unit is a little dark (common for ski units) you can open up all the windows and the placement in the condo unit is very nice and quiet.

great for a couple/Super property

This property was really perfect for us. I was attending figure skating camp at the lodge and it was a beautiful walk every morning to the rink. The owner is fantastic and the best I've ever worked with (I have done a few of these elsewhere but now I'm spoiled as he was so helpful with tips and answering questions). The beds are big and the kitchen is fully equipped (I was thrilled to have everything there). Love the deck too.
