Spacious 1-bedroom apartment in Ocean Grove home

We’re sorry that you didn’t enjoy the apartment, the “coffee table” is situated under the tv to maximize the open space in the living room, and is easily movable. There is no dresser in the room but there is a closet with shelves on top and nightstands as well. We were very thoughtful about making the space warm and inviting with lamps and artwork and comfortable furniture and thus far have only received positive feedback about the space, so we are sorry that our space wasn’t a good fit for you. As for the coffee filters, we appreciate that feedback and will try to make sure to restock for our next guest. Hope you have a good rest of your summer.

Hi Michael, we do sincerely apologize that we were not able to respond to your message however as I mentioned before you checked in we were spending the weekend in an area with no service and unfortunately didn’t see your message until a day and a half later when you were already checking out. Regarding lighting, the apartment is part of a beautiful original Victorian home, typical for Ocean Grove and built in 1900. As such, there is no built-in lighting in any of the rooms (except bathroom) and we rely on multiple lamps throughout the unit to light the space. You messaged Friday evening that the kitchen lights were not working and we were not able to address the issue before you checked out on Sunday morning and again we apologize for that. There are several windows in the kitchen and the bathroom is off the kitchen, both of which provide light but we know that it wasn’t ideal and that was not our intention. As for the unit being basic - it is exactly how it is pictured in the listing, with furniture and kitchen accessories and linens and towels all included, but yes we intentionally keep it uncluttered to maximize the space for our guests. The window unit ACs cannot be kept running constantly in between guests and so unfortunately it does take an hour or two to cool down once a guest arrives and turns them on. We are glad you enjoyed the location and once again apologize about the lighting issue.
