I felt like I was being hosted in a family member's home versus just being a customer. It was absolutely perfect and so adorable. I hope to make it back one day and will stay here again. Privacy without being in the middle of nowhere made it all the better. Big BIG thanks to the owners, you made us feel right at home.

Knowing how much it usually costs to stay anywhere in NYC, this place was a super great value! My friend and I needed to work on a music project together and this apartment was perfect because there was plenty of space and a desk and chairs and a table. It’s huge for a studio! The neighborhood is pretty residential, but we took the LIRR to Brooklyn or Manhattan at night to go to concerts, which is fast and convenient if you plan ahead. The area has a lot of charming Queens character. There are some stores around and we bought basic groceries and cooked, which was great!Check-in and communication was smooth. The address on the listing was incorrect when I first got it and I was confused, but the property manager sent me the correct address and said she would talk to VRBO to fix it. Thanks for a great time in St. Albans!

I booked a four-day stay at this property but never had the opportunity to use it. About a week before my scheduled arrival, the owner canceled my reservation without any warning or explanation.I made multiple attempts to contact the owner and received no response. I also reached out to customer service, but unfortunately, they were not helpful in resolving the issue or providing clarity on what happened.This was especially difficult because I was traveling for a memorial service. It was already an emotional time, and having my accommodations canceled unexpectedly added unnecessary stress.While others may have had positive experiences, that was not the case for me. Canceling a booking without notice or communication is unacceptable, and the lack of support afterward was very disappointing.I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but I feel it’s important for others to be aware of this terrible experience.
