Casa do Teatro is a cosy house suitable for 2 adults plus one child and is surrounded by shady trees.
It has a separate bedroom with air conditioning with a double bed with mosquito protection.
There is another double bed with a mosquito net in the colourful living room with air conditioning, a sofa to relax on and storage space.
All beds have mosquito screens and additional fans.
There is a separate toilet and a separate blue and turquoise coloured called ‘Moroccan shower room’ with blue and turquoise tiles.
Mosquito screens at the door front let air into the house.
Two terraces with sun loungers and a dining table under a pine tree surround the house. Immediately adjacent is the separate kitchen house in turquoise colours with an adjoining barbecue area.
There is also an outdoor shower in the private part of the garden. Wonderful! say our guests.
The nearby pool invites you to swim and cool off.

Quinta da Arte is a country estate on 12 hectares of land with four separate, privately situated, individual holiday homes, each of which is unique and set in the middle of a naturally grown park.
The estate has a swimming pool, an open-air theatre, a dance studio, a boules court and walking paths through the grounds.

In the upper and most private part of our grounds is the colourful and cosy house "Casa das Rochas", with its integrated rock landscape (Rochas means rock in Portuguese) and thus gave the house its name.
Each house has its own private garden with terraces and sun loungers completely embedded in nature.
In the centre of the complex is the main house with adjoining dance hall, which can be rented on request.
In the lower part of the grounds is the generously proportioned, all-white studio with integrated art objects and a fantastic, expansive view of the garden.
It is very suitable for 2 people but also for 2 adults and 1 small child.
Guests particularly appreciate the space, the brightness and the free, calming and open feeling of life that they find in this house.

Two large, openable studio doors with fluttering white curtains in front of them lead guests up a wide flight of steps to the garden area with sun loungers and a barbecue and dining area.
People spend the nice summer evenings sitting on the so-called "Portuguese staircase" with its charming lighting, looking out onto nature - one of the beautiful evening experiences that can be enjoyed here.

The house impresses our guests with its layout and size, the many colourful views and its fantastic, large outdoor bed with mosquito protection, where whole families have allready spent their summer nights marvelling at the starry sky at night.
The kitchen is housed in a separate, neighbouring kitchen house and is located at the back of the garden right next to the dining and barbecue area surrounded by palm trees and trees.

Quinta da Arte is located in the Sotavento, the south-east facing Algarve coast, a coastal landscape with kilometres of sandy beaches and unspoilt bird and fish life. Here, fishing boats ply the waterways of the tamed Atlantic. The estate itself is set in a vast natural landscape surrounded by carob, olive, almond and orange tree plantations. Surrounded by a slightly hilly mountain fringe, the sea glistens on the horizon some 8 kilometres away. The pearl of the Algarve, the Roman-Arabic Renaissance town of Tavira, situated on the estuary of the 'Ria do Gilao', is only 10 km away.
Once they have arrived, our guests are often amazed at the larger and even prettier accommodation than they had already seen in the photos and expected.
The holiday homes are often booked by families or several families of friends who then spend their holidays next to each other in the houses.

The people who come to us love the originality of the accommodation and above all the 'outdoor living'.
They love being able to relax undisturbed, to get away from their everyday lives and gradually immerse themselves in the Portuguese rhythm of life, the people, the sea, the food and life.
Children who come to visit us get to know the whole area while playing and exploring because they can move freely and undisturbed and of course the pool is one of their favourite places where they would love to spend the whole day if there weren't so many other beautiful things to discover.....

Peace, nature, inspiration, freedom.

The ideas of an artist and his creative partner resulted in four individual, artistically designed holiday units, each with its own privacy and charisma. Inspired by the mild climate and the light, the desire to bring people closer to nature and to the natural world, buildings made of glass and iron or, for example, shady roofs made of coloured acrylic panels were designed.
Each house has its own special features, ranging from absolute privacy to a life with and in art that is never intrusive.
In the Pavilhao da Arte, for example, there is a large outdoor bed covered with a mosquito net that allows guests to sleep outside in the middle of nature.
Or the many art objects in the house, on the house or directly in the neighbouring garden in the form of outdoor sculptures, such as the impressive object by a Cologne artist that was installed in a former lime kiln.

These are just two sculptures of other interesting objects that allow the guest to live with art in harmony with nature.

Our property is only 9km away from the most beautiful sights or the clean sea with its wide, beautiful beaches protected by the beautiful lagoons and mudflats with various wild and water birds where even flamingos have a home in the nature reserve of the "Ria da Formosa".
